I would like to connect music system. Please let me know the DC input details. I don't want to cut the wire. Please provide elaborate details including socket location etc.

First service is done at Prerana motors on Hosur road. As said guys said, nothing was done. The water wash was also namesake, as most of the dirt was not cleaned. When I complained on delivery, they took it ones again, and cleaned the dirt that I pointed to :) They said, due to Saturday, there are too many yellow-board cars, and hence this bad workmanship.

Dear Nano owners,
I want to know if every Nano has the same issue. When I turn the AC on, car lacks power like any thing. From 2nd gear onwards, it takes hell lot of time to pick up speed in subsequent 3rd & 4th gear. Also, I feel as if the hand brake is on or something is pulling it from back. I do not feel requirement to apply brakes to stop after releasing the gas pedal. Is there any way out? I am really upset.

A query to fellow Nano owners,
Two days back while reversing my car in the car park, I banged into the wall behind [frustration]. The rear bumper guard took the impact, but after that while driving the car started vibrating and abnormal sound surfaced. I stopped and pulled the guard here and there and the vibrations and sound reduced, but it still there minutely. I presume maybe it is touching the muffler of the exhaust pipe due to impact and vibrating.

Now the car is leaking liquid like substance from the exhaust pipe and oil type smell is coming. Is is normal or engine oil/petrol leaking ? I am worried now, what to do, should I visit TASS [confused]

Well brother, I have felt the power issue only in the 1st gear with AC on. It pulls better from 2nd gear, 3rd and 4th gear are also ok. Regarding the issue of something pulling the car back, I am unable to state any specific reason, it may be due to handbrake not properly released or it is stuck somewhere. It happened to me once I forgot to release the handbrake and the car pulled itself back with a jerk and the engine stopped.

Bro,the engine is at the rear in a nano so if you had hit the rear and you smell oil after the hit and feels some sound then it is better to rush to the nearest dealer.

@ the hand brake issue, the hand brake is engaged on the rear wheels,
as the engine is on the rear and the hand brake is on the rear wheels even though it is slightly engaged the nano will find difficult to move than other cars.

Can we change the brake system in our Nano because in raining season the braking is very bad. Please suggest me what can I do. Thank you.

Can anyone help me whether we can install a front disc brake in nano.
If yes what will be the cost of installation
And whether we have to install it in front or back.
IMO it should be in the front so to reduce roll over

I have a Tata nano LX car. It has a problem when i turn on blower switch to 3rd place, blower fuse is burn. so i replace new one and it also same problem.
but 1st and 2nd speed are ok. help me find out what the reason.

I have bought used TATA Nano 2012 LX (11,000 km on odo) from a dealer. I gave the car for servicing at TASC (Yash Auto, Pune) on very next day. Car had issue of "Check Engine Light On". There was no other issue in the car apart from "Check Engine Light" ON. The regular servicing was done but "Check Engine Light On" issue was unresolved. Now it has been FOUR days & TASC haven't been able to resolve the issue. The Car is still at service center. Service Center guys are saying they have checked everything but issue repeats itself after brief drive of 5-6km. They are now clueless about any possible technical solution. They are saying that they have tried everything but issue isn't resolved so they have escalated this issue to next level in TATA Motors today; so that they will get further technical expertise.

Similarly, I am also clueless about my next steps. What should I do? Can you suggest me some probable failure modes for this issue which I can ask TASC guys to check specifically? Please help. :help:

Ask them to connect your car to OBD and run a scan. It will show the reason why light is on. Additionally check if alternator belt is ok.
