Thanks for the lovely pics Bhooshanar, can I request you to post some interior pics as well. How has your experience been with maintaining the exterior color?

Everyboday takes notice. wherever i go people inquire about genx. maintaining is not yet a problem, i have given a teflon coating which helps.
i use 3M car shampoo twice a month to wash car. due to teflon, after wash car shines like anything.

I guess Persian Rose does stand out in the crowd. I am in the process of booking the same (XTA though). Have been quoted a wait of about 10 weeks here in Bangalore. Will join the whatsapp group once I transition from Fan to Owner :)

Dealer experience was very nice. Previously my Zest XT RT was from other dealer (National Garage). Checked the VIN and the series MAT612277FKH***** (Aug-15). Till date clocked 384km and getting mileage 20.2 as per odo but according to tankful method it is 22.65 (within 17days) w/o AC.
Finally, I am very much pleased with my NANO(GENX) & ZEST XT RT.

Did the PDI of our GenX AMT today. Happy with the vehicle. Odo shows 9KMs and there was a slip in the driver's side glove box, having a date stamp of 24th Nov. Delivery scheduled for Monday.

Our genxt amt xta is due for its first service. I want to get it serviced at a nearby Tata Motors authorised workshop rather than taking it to the dealership since its is a bit far from our residence. Since I do not want to go to the dealership's workshop from where I bought the vehicle, will there be any issue with the warranty?

Buddy, in the first service there is not much to be done except for wash, lights check, fluids check (top-up if needed) so being an Authorised service center of TATA, there should not be an issue. By the way, what's the name of the ASC?

Not just waiting periods, but price too may be coming down.
But I have a feeling that Tata will be displaying a 3cyl/Turbo Nano at the Auto expo since it's been quite a long time since the 3cyl/turbo versions were spotted testing. Those engines will cope very well with the AMT system.

Yes, a 3-Cyl with AMT would be ideal and if reports of a disc brake version being planned can be included, it would be a better kitted car, lending it more than in-city usability.
So far no complaints on my 3 weeks old XTA, took it on a 70KM drive to Devarayana Durga (just off the Bangalore - Pune highway at Tumkur). The drive to the top had about 10-12 hairpin bends and the XTA in sport mode was the most useful, but begged for a more powerful engine)

Hope they display the the new Dolphin atleast in the concept guise based on the new gen Nano platform to slot between the Nano and Zica. It should come with a front engined variant with a toned down 3 cyl aluminium engine in the Zica.

This time we have many cars in the TATA Motors pavillion.
- Nano with 3 cyl engine
- Zica
- Sway
- Nexon (Osprey)
- Hexa

I also expect to see the following:
- A new SUV Concept
- Dolphin concept
- An MUV Concept based on TATA Motors Design concept displayed on 2014 Auto expo.

I am going to the Auto Expo and have managed to get the special passes to see the inaugural day 4th Feb.

I hope to see and touch and feel all the displayed cars this time.
