Thanks friend for the update, the pics & write-up seems to have answered most of our queries.

The cockpit looks killer with the Matt black center console.

Am doing a TD the moment I touch down in July.

I guess the On Road price will land at 3.60 Lacks because current nano onroad price around 3lacks and price difference between MS Celerio MT and AMT is 55K

I am at Tata dealership in Delhi as I write. The car is launching on 20th May 2015. Test drive car will be available by 17 or 18. Media drive has been done but this car is yet to reach at dealers.

Yes.. Even i got the same response from one of the dealer in Bangalore. He said the launch will be on 17th..

If Speakers will move from parcel shelf to here on Hatch door then its perfect to access boot i guess

We 5 from got exclusive access to the last peg of media event! Whole technical team was there to brief us. We tested Gen X Nano from un-biased point of view and from current nano owner's POV. Here's a opening pic.

Fantastic @Phoenix Bird. So you were lucky to attend the media drive at last. Did you also make any video or walk-around? From out-going nano, how is this Nano different in terms of:

> Drive

> Handling

> AMT Mechanism

> NVH Level

> In-Cabin Experience.

Anything about the number of gears in this car's gearbox? Does it have the same 4-speed gearbox?
If yes, then I don't think the current Nano Twist XT owners have anything much to upgrade to except if one really wants to have the AMT.

In an interview to Economic Times, Girish Wagh, Tata Motors' senior VP of programme planning and management for passenger cars shared the following views.

What are the major changes in the new car?

Earlier, the Nano was seen as a different car, not competing with the entry hatch segment cars (Alto, Eon), but now the needle has moved up. One was electric power-assisted steering systems, the second was on the refinement... We worked on the powertrain, we gave the AMT (automated manual transmission) and that too with a 5th speed gear. We have been able to give a good look to the car, which is in congruous with the NextGen Nano.

AMT Has 5 Speed gearbox, even with the same after actual TD, we all agreed for twist owner's get nothing more other than new design and AMT.
