may be car is sucking air from outside. do check the recirculation switch if its closing properly.

Here is the new addition to #projectNano

I am facing hard steering in my nano. Some times it become smooth some times becomes really hard. Is that because of misaligned wheel? I am not sure but when I visit ASC for wheel alignment the steering becomes normal but becomes hard(not so hard) after 100-150 km's. I told service advisor to check steering column for the hardness and they said its there in all manual steering nano, but I don't feel so because my second nano have smooth steering. Service advisor always drive the steering by two hands when I said to use one hand he sad its manual use both as I am stupid not knows this. Anyway any idea why steering becomes hard, things can be checked to rectify, I am planning to visit TATA this sunday for wheel alignment and headlight socket fixing.
One more thing I don't know if its my misconception or something else but when ever I drove the car on very deep water, brakes becomes fade(usual because of drums) but steering becomes very very smooth no idea why ? Have any body observed that?

Buddy, Alignment can be 1 cause for a hard steering. Apart from that do get the steering bush also checked. Could be possible that they need replacement.

how to make ASC people understand to check bush, as they already told to drive with 2 hands. anyway I make a try.

See Buddy, If genuinely the steering is hard then driving with one or both hands doesn't matter. Go ahead and get bushes checked/ replaced.

I had a similar recent experience with TASS (Wasan Motors, Kandivali West workshop)
During my car's servicing, before handing the care to them for servicing, I had clearly asked them to fix the alignment issue, as the steering was tilting to the left.
When I TD the car post servicing, the issue was not resolved. Hence asked them to re-do the alignment. They took another day and messed the alignment even further. The steering started pulling towards right this time![[anger]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Anger.gif "Anger [anger]")
. I know what they must have done. Furious and upset with TASS, I decided to get it fixed from a local garage, who resolved the issue in 30 mins flat.
