Ok....but if your car is in warrenty.then change the serviece station.Find beter Authoroised TAAS..May be it long from your town.I always take serviece 150 km from my town.One is near me but very bad serviece.

It's my daily ride and i don't have time to visit distanced TASS.

It was nice meeting shibu. Our both nanos were also very excited, no wonder my nano could do big highway bend with lot of load in the back at 80kmph while shibu was chasing me at 100kmph [lol][glasses][lol]

Shibu's nano is just kickass, loved it. We need to find a way to keep nano's floor cleaner. Cover all under seat areas somehow so atleast big dirt doesnt get inside crevices near battery. What say?

I completed 2000kms today in nano on my kerala trip (pune-davangere-ooty-kochin-kanyakumari-to be continued) (total odo on my nano 108676 kms). I faced no problems from nano in the trip. Climbing ooty ghat with 150 kgs load and 2 person took toll but nano gave up nowhere. One problem arised at around 1300kms down in trip, one of the bolts supporting silencer have broken off inside due to vibrations and now its making grinding noise in certain rpm zone. I spoke with my mechanic who told me to get it rectified once back in pune.

Today i will be starting from kanyakumari (thanks shibu for great accomodation arrangements) towards bangalore hoping to meet with two respected members ashesh and anshuman, with their nanos. I hope my small wonders stays with me till i reach back to pune.

For few questions above:
Removing headliner needs removing pillar trims, cabing light, sun visors. Then you need to remove push pins holding roofliner, you need trim removal tools for that. Getting roofliner out of nano without removing front seats is very hard and as material of roofliner isvery delicate damaging it is easy. Then you can easily install antenna. Put it back in reverse order.

Yes all nanos pull out to left by certain degree. Problem can be reduced by doing some jugaad while alignment is done. I will ask my mechanic for more details.

You all need to take care and not land in big pothole when steering is turned. Try to go in pot holes with straight steering whenever possible.

Get your struts changed or replaced and always look for uneven tyre wear. If you find your rear tires are wearing out in slanted way get it checked at soonest.

To remove rear bench,you need to find screws holding bench from under in frontal lip section of rear bench. Remove screws and take out bench in swing motion to unlock hooks which go in rear seat backs. I suggest not doing oil filter change yourself as its a messy job remving seat and remving filter itself.

Sorry we did not click many pictures. Old habit of clicking photos for mind and not for camera. But putting few photos down.

Anyways Logs of Trips are as follows:
Trip Route: Pune-Davangere-Ooty-Coimbatore-Kochin-Kanyakumari-Navakkal-Hubli-Pune
Total Kms Traveled: 3566
Total No. of Hours Driven: Approximately 44 Hours
Total Fuel Used: 130 Litres
Overall FE: 27 KMPL
Total Expenses on Fuel: Rs. 9031.00 (Rs. 2.53 Per KM)
Total Expenses on Tolls: Rs. 2161.00
Approximate Load in Nano: 300 Kgs including Driver, Navigator and Material being carried.
Problems Observed/Occurred: At 1300 KMS One of the bolt (not known which one exactly) somewhere in Exhaust Assembly broke causing grinding noise in certain RPM zone, continued journey with problem unsolved, it caused no problem on performance or economy. Down 3000 KMS another bolt broke off causing grinding noise in most RPM zones and in all gears. Down 3500 KMS grinding noise become major. Problem will be looked upon on Monday.
Seat cushioning needs to improved, very fatiguing after long journey.

Do you have any plans to improve the seat cushions, do tell me if you find the solution.
Yes, A local upholstery guy is ready to re-do complete cushioning of front two seats with added lumbar support, neck support and little increment on under thigh support. Along-with PU Leather seat covers. Quotation provided for Front two seats Rs. 3600. I will be getting it done soon.

Yes, A local upholstery guy is ready to re-do complete cushioning of front two seats with added lumbar support, neck support and little increment on under thigh support. Along-with PU Leather seat covers. Quotation provided for Front two seats Rs. 3600. I will be getting it done soon.
Don't forget to post the pictures, if possible also post some pics while working on that. As far the price is concerned out of my budget- what was his quotation without seat covers, only cushioning.

I also want to upgrade my nano 2012 cousion.Also want to improve suspention.Does anyone has done or have any idea?

I just done 950 km in three days in my nano.Also we 3 on board enjoyed trip like swiming in kashid beach about 4 hours and also visited Murud Janjira fort.aveage i got 23.3 km/l ac always on from ignition.Highest speed 110kmph.on NH4 AND NH 9.From Khopoli 50 to 60kmph.

i think if the speed was between 70-80 nano can deliver more than 25 but if the speed goes above 100 the average become 23 mine observation, you also pointed the same after your trip.

You will have to get new seat covers done anyways if you change the structure of seat cushioning. OEM Seat covers wont fit if you add lumbar support and under-thigh supports.
He is charging Rs. 1600.00 for the seat covers
To reduce the cost you can use lower quality cushioning material which will save you Rs. 600

More than speed FE dependent upon RPM you use to hold the speed, remember nano comes with Over-Drive in 4th Gear.

I have achieved
31 KMPL in 4th Gear at 70kmph in overdrive
27 KMPL in 4th Gear at 90-100kmph in partial overdrive
21 KMPL above 100 kmph

All figures are not exact but based on long term observations.

Also don't get in upgrading nano's suspensions by aftermarket ones. First of all you wont find exact fit for nano and doing jugaad to fit aftermarket suspension is way to risky. Try the Silicone Spring Rubber Buffers available on aliexpress or ebay (mods edit here if mentioning Ecommerce sites are not allowed.)
