I too got my left strut replaced when I left my Nano LX for 10k kms service last week.

They replaced it under warranty but I have never felt any change while driving before and after service. It remains as smooth as ever.

Guys, Is there any remap kinda stuff available for nano...?? I googled for it but couldn't get enough info about it. I am sure somewhere, somebody would have done it as the car can safely handle a power bump upto atleast 45 bhp if not more than that.

Felt change in ride quality may be because of change of both the arms, earlier both the tyres are bend inward like we see in the auto rickshaw but now both are straight.

Re: Tata Nano – To Its Best

I will post the breakup. They gave floor mats for free. Apart from that no accessories been provided. At present, I don't want to go for any MOD. As, I like the stock very much. Probably I will fit a front bumper.

I am maintaining 30psi in all the wheels. Is that ok? I am not expecting any performance from this machine. I just want to maintain the mileage which I get now.
congrates owning twist
for better driving experience put

Maintaining 26 in front and 28 in rear would offer good riding comfort especially in bad roads with a slight toll on mileage.

Otherwise, if you drive frequently on highways or in equally good roads, 30 psi both in front and rear is fine.

I maintain 28 psi in front and 30 in rear regularly. Some times 30 in both. Weekly pressure check up at petrol pump. 26 and 28 are not of my liking.

My car also came with stock MRF tyres and no issues till now ( May be because of tubeless type.)
Otherwise my experience in my splendor+ with stock mrf tyres has not been good.
If Ceat has tyres for nano, I will go for it with eyes closed when it is due for replacement.
If not , I will go for Bridgestone...Little expensive but worth every single penny invested.

Re: Tata Nano – To Its Best

What are reasons behind car needs wheel alignment after every 200 or 300 kms.[frustration] I do not understand why my nano needs balancing, is their any part goes bad or something i don't know. Last when I realigned it the steering wheel was out and always the car pulls towards the left.
Every car pull toward left or this i the case with nano only.[confused]

Cars which are used on good roads and with a lesser abuse would only require wheel alignment in every 5000 kms and not less than that. This interval may slightly reduce if a car is abused with over load, continuous running on hilly sections and bumpy rural roads.

But in any case a car would never need wheel alignment in every 200-300 kms.
Get your car's struts and suspension checked by ASC people ASAP.
