Re: Tata Nano – To Its Best

Tyres are designed with tread to be fitted one way and you should not turn the tyre in-out which will reverse direction. Also the rim can only be fitted one way. You will find the fitting direction marked somewhere - ask the tyre dealer.

If the tyres are fading - are they getting hot on the engine side - get condition checked and also if the side walls have any cracks. If in doubt replace with new tyres. Not worth taking a chance.

Also check if the exhaust is leaking and spewing out hot gases on the tyres. Nano exhaust bolts tend to come loose - poor design - long overhang bolted to the engine directly without any flexible support and subject to vibration and road bumps.

Hi Friends,
Bridgestone released tyres for TATA NANO

FRONT - 2* 2100=4200 INR
REAR - 2* 2700=5400 INR
I already have bridgestone B290 135/70R12 n mine.

If u r passing via coimbatore, lets have a meet here.
Dont go for 2nd hand alloys ,because. They are taken from crashed car or stolen ones.
Nano's current look
Got custom designed DIY leds on fog lights
Used 1W leds and buck converter
Couldnt upload all pics via phone.

I don't have projector setup anymore as there was short circuit in headlamp causing damage to projector itself. It's obvious the light output was far better than what stock or even any halogen bulb will give you, there is no comparison. Never needed high beam or fog lamps when projectors were there. Be it city, highway or off-road HIDs in projector used to illuminate everything without causing glare for on-coming.

@saishibu38380

About your DRL DIY. Its looking awesome. Great job.

However, I'm confused with the night shots. You have placed some 9 SMDs panel into the fog light housing which are visible on day time but how come they glow so bright at night? They are looking like normal halogen bulb. Blue colour on day and yellow at night. [confused]
