are we going to see a few segment first even in this category? Well things are looking great from product point of view. Hope this time the sales tell a different story.

This car to me has already made a very very very compelling case for itself. Lets see how the aam junta respond to it. Initial pricing will play a very important role here.

I think this might not lure much customers from Innova. Hexa will make it's own market from niche and well informed customers and eventually when there will be enough on the roads then it might become the worthy competitor to Innova and likes.

According to my thought it will lock horns with XUV initially and the customers who want to buy fortunner might take Hexa for it's VFM tag and the better package on offer as it's coming with all bells and whistles

That's exactly what AutocarIndia said in the Hexa preview. "The 6-speed gearbox has ability to handle around 460NM torque and soon there will be a twin turbo variant with 170bhp."
So now, there are two tunes of engines confirmed.
But there is also mention about a Turbo petrol. I am not sure of that; Given that the news provided in the link is also old, dating back to April 2015.
Let's wait and watch till the Auto Expo!

Yes but I guess it will surely still be bang for buck. Imean proper 7 seater, Great ICE, Great Engine, Great Looks, Good ASS why will not one plonk 22L?

But yeah they have to prod into +20L category slowly. Let the lower version start getting the numbers and then bring on the more powerful 20L + variant.

I think Tata can price it really low as the RnD cost is not that high for Hexa. They using the same platform not much work was required(already good on Aria) and only front and rear got redesigned.

Most importantly Tata need to get back in the market and need a bang. Hexa can do that in the premium crossover segment where range from 16-22 lacs is vacant.

Hope Tata will not repeat what they did with Aria.

Im sure that TATA HEXA price start from 11.50lacks to 16.50lacks thats safe pricing dont expect more then 20lacks price mark compared with TATA ARIA price should little over 1lack

If they did make money on the ARIA I would have understood this statement. But leave even a penny, it has lost more producing every unit if it. So don't say that the product development cost is low. Infact it has to recover the cost of producing the HEXA also. If Storme atleast was a hit, it would have offloaded some cost and pressure over the development cost.

I really liked the second pic. The best front design after original Safari by Tata Motors. Those mean an sculptured lines on bonnet and an alegator kinda look makes it more imposing.

No doubt Tata can get this SUV although a crossover on road with proud.

And just on lighter note: Mahindra's SUV Kuv100 standing in front of SUV like Hexa, Safari, Endy or even there own Scorpio and begging ...

DJ bro give more! Just can't have enough of Hexa. I feel TATA will price it smartly where it will not be really low priced but will justify its price with its features and warranty/service packages.

WOW thats looks really nice Crome looks much better then brushed aluminium and TATA should think on it, i wish if TATA offered with some funky colors like orange, bright red, some dual tone colors like while-blue, red- white and orange- piano black

I think the brush metal will be replaced by chrome eventually by Tata in final production however the rear strip is pretty thick and come out as chrome overdose.

Lets see. May be a fusion of brush metal and crome would make it interesting[glasses]
