True..three door looks. But for swift it ate up the window glass area and from inside the blackout glass area not a welcome feature. Hoping at least H45x having a wider window should not have impact like swift
I agree. I am also against the rising window line design which is the trend now days. Though, it does give the car great looks, it makes the cabin feel less spacious. It also makes you feel more motion sick/claustrophobic on long journeys.

this is the best idea to get rid of the quarter glass. [:D]

I see no other reason for the handle being there. This long car wont have a three door look even if they weld shut the doors to the body.

why would one want to get rid of quarter glass? Wont that impact the light in car, or restrict the view for passengers inside?

The same problem with my Creta. My wife feels nauseatic and claustrophobic in the rear. She says she feels closed due to high window line limiting outside vision. I too felt that due to high waist line we have limited vision for rear seaters.

Presenting you my rendering of the upcoming Tata 45x premium hatchback or Aquila. The car is in its final phases of testing and this I could make out most of the design elements. I think it's gonna a great and sharp looking hatchback.
Do let me know your opinion guys.

I have another take on this. In slow moving traffic, those outside will have limited view of the Car's inside which can be an added safety to the passengers traveling to Functions wearing Jewels. Is my thinking right ?

Err... looks like a Tata made mix of Baleno/Jazz. Is it only to me ?

I think its more a design towards Jaguar Ipace and yes few things from the segment cars it is going to compete with

The only grouse is That tata should have brought led headlights a segment first feature to grab the attention of the premium segment and what happened with alloy designs... first harrier and now this?
You raised the bar with those amazing looking alloys on Hexa, Nexon & Tiago JTP twins, so continue with that [frustration]

One thing I can say that the AMP platform is one hell of an engineering marvel and maybe the best out of the platforms available in India for the price band

That way we better have sealed windows. That should not be the answer. Dacoity cannot be prevented either way. It should be aesthetics that should prevail.

I guess they are saving the alloys for a later surprise. The one on test mules looks like a replica of Jazz alloys, I seriously hope this does not go into production.

Tata 45X: Latest spy shots of Maruti Baleno rival reveal more!

screenshot-www.cartoq.com 2018-12-02 14-09-28-042.jpeg

The test mule seen in these spy images is not the final production version of the hatchback considering it has bolt-on headlamps and a few bulges on its fenders and doors under the camo wrap or paint applied to it.

The test mule though retains a toned down version of the overall edgy design of the concept car. The 16-inch wheels seen on the test car though seem to be the production version of the ones fitted to the concept seen at Auto Expo, earlier this year. The spoiler at the rear end though has been ditched, though it could just be a change affecting this specific test mule.
