TAI's Chennai Meet: Action from Page 13!

coldhaya,nice detailed report,it was like getting the event back in my mind minute by minute.Thanks and we are awaiting for the 4th part.

Here comes my next part. Sorry for the delay as i am busy with my college symposium and also project for my final semester!
Well then we started after the photo shoot and started heading towards Mahabalipuram. Another 30km drive from our place. As usual Surander starting speeding away first utilizing the full 110BHP of Verna! Then i managed to keep up behind him followed by Ilango and Zinam. Even after driving economically from the morning my babe started feeling thirsty again. So i went in to fill up fuel for 500bucks!
In the meanwhile Surendar waited sometime for me but when Ilango and Zinam soon came they three started moving towards Mahabalipuram. I made sure my darling was fed first or otherwise like most other girls she is also stubborn and will refuse to move!! Then i also started moving towards Mahabalipuram again.
When i went there i was reserved a parking slot by them near their cars. There we stopped our cars again and another photo was taken of course again the cars only! I think nobody has posted that photo still here! Then we all saw a nicely modded black lancer! Surendar has took photos of it and will upload it here! My friend told me that Lancer is owned by a guy who lives near my home only but till date i have never seen that lancer. It was modded good alright but the spoiler was not that good and the car was poorly maintained!!
We had the option of eating veg or non-veg! Surendar said non-veg for sure as it was sunday noon. I too quickly joined with him as i also prefer eating non-veg over veg! Then we decided non-veg as everybody was okay with it. When we opened the door of the hotel we were shocked to see it full to our surprise!! There were people waiting near the table ready to occupy them even before the person having the food completed having it.
Seeing the full rush we decided to wait outside for sometime and were busy chatting about cars again. After sometime we went inside and to our luck found an empty table with nobody yet to occupy it. Me and my friend quickly occupied that table , the other three went to refresh themselves. Then we sat there and waited for 5 minutes but still no sign of the waiter!
After sometime he came near to us. We ordered three cold water bottles only first as we were quenched by the hot sun already! Then due to some reasons they had only Fried rice available at that place. We quickly ordered our food and started chatting again.
This is where i came to know that Surendar has a huge collection of photos. His N72 is fully loaded with photos and it took almost 5 minutes for his mobile to move into the photo gallery. He said he had more than 1500 photos of all exotics and modified cars! BTW the environment in the hotel was really bad that i could hardly hear what others were speaking. I had to lean over the table to have a conversation with Zinam with Surendar!!
Meanwhile while we were busy seeing Surendar's collections our food arrived! The food was not that good but was okay and not too bad. And if i am right Zinam was not able to finish his food completely!! Before we could complete our food the waiter provided us the bill and it was like pushing us outside soon! Another family was already beside our table to readily pouch on our chairs like a musical chair game!! We started feeling uncomfortable and thats the reason probably Zinam din have his food fully.
We paid the bill , actually Zinam and Surendar only paid it! I thought i will pay elsewhere if we have any juice or something of that sort but we din have anything. While we were coming outside a fight started brewing up between two families due to some reason. We silently slid through the exit and considered ourselves lucky to have had our lunch before the fight took place!!
While we came outside Surendar immediately spotted another Q5 parked outside. Man , nobody of us spotted it! This shows how he gets to have such a huge collection of photos. Really Surendar you have an eagle's eye bro!! While we came the Q5 to click it , the owner of the car a foreigner and his wife sat in the car and started moving. But still Surendar wanted ti click it and started clicking it as the car started moving away.
Then we came near our cars and decided to park in another shady place and have a chat for sometime. Off we go deciding to go towards Chennai again! Ilango this time started with a wheel spin in his Marina!

Well here comes my final part!
Again no rewards for guessing who was the first up to leave! Yeah it was Surendar the beast again! I was the last to leave because i make it a point to wait for atleast 15-20 seconds before starting to move as mentioned in the manual! Then off i go and soon i was able to catch up behind Surendar!
As were moving along nicely suddenly Surendar decided to stop near Dolphin city in ECR itself for the final photo shoot! It was not a very scenic spot but we were able to park our vehicles in shade in that spot , very much needed as we were stomach full and also the sun too showed no mercy! As soon as we parked our cars a security watch man came and asked us 5 Rs. for parking but Surendar said that we will be leaving soon and we saved 5Rs.!!![[lol]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Laugh.gif "Laugh [lol]")
And all this was happening before Zinam arrived i guess! He was a bit too slow this time. But finally when he arrived he over shoot us by a good 500m and he reversed his i10 all the 500m back to us!! And then we park our cars neatly again!!
We first took some photos and then decided to chat for sometime! Ilango's wish was that he should be taller atleast once than me , so he decided to stand on the tyre of his Marina! That photo is uploaded by Zinam already!! We had discussions about Zinam's ICE plans. Man , this guy wants nothing less than eclipse in his i10! Hope he gets it done soon! Then we had a chat about many cars mostly the cars plying in the ECR along our way. Then Ilango opened his boot , me and Ilango were the first to grab the place for sitting and the others decided to stand for sometime and have a chat! In the meanwhile we decided many times to leave but continued to keep talking on!
After sometime Ilango said that it was nearly time for him to leave and go pick up his relatives in Chennai! So finally we decide to depart at around 3:30 i guess. We started bidding adieu to each other and decide to move on. Zinam myself and Ilango had to move towards Chennai and Surendar had to leave towards Pondicherry!

He started driving fast. I was leading the trio for sometime around but i could see Zinam right at the back of my tail always. I as i first decided i din floor the pedal and still continued to drive in a decent manner with speeds around 100-120kmph for economy! Soon Zinam overtook me and started to move rapidly away from me. Man , great driving! He drove so well and started taking calculated risks that i got a fear within myself , so i decide to drive even more slow and more importantly din get provoked by him to drive fast like a maniac! I could not see Ilango also at my back , so i had to travel alone till i reached my home!
It was a great meet! Though the members were less , it was a success. I still keep in contact with all the members and i am glad i have made great friends who can help me always anything regarding automobiles! Hoping to keep in touch with all of them till the end! And also hoping that the next Chennai meet has lots more of members and we soon do also have a TAI meet at a common place!!

Thank you guys my pleasure! I am free most of the time as am still studying in college and not busy like most of you present here , so i find time to give detailed reports!
