Delayed report
Sorry for the delayed report.
First to start with,after confirming the meet on 16th Jan 11:00 pm,I already planned to start early morning to meet my friends for breakfast,and then proceed to the meet at 12:00 pm.
17th Jan 03:30 am,my alarm started to ring and I got up at 03:35 am and started to get ready for my trip to chennai.I then gave my car a little wash and began from my home at 04:10 am.
Always I like travelling alone,so started my car and I had to search for petrol bunk for diesel,as it was early morning.Finally,at a place called Kalapet,filled up my tank and began to push my car harder to cross 170 km/ph.Then,I reached chennai at 06:00 am.Then,I went to my friend's house and we moved to the Besant nagar beach,and a little time spent with them and I started to roam in and around the streets of chennai waiting eagerly for the clock to show 12:00 m.
In the mean time,I got a message from Zinam stating that hope you all guys are ready for the meet.I replied yes instantaneously.I entered Adyar,a short cut to mount road,where I saw the 7-series(730 Ld),which came and was parked on he opposite side of the road,I went down to take snaps of it.
Then,I did roam in a few areas,which i am familiar with,and when the clock was 10:45 am,I planned to go to the spot(as I always want to be punctual).
I went to the spot at 11:30 am,as expected I was the first one to come.I parked my car on the road side,came out and started to watch the road,which I like from my childhood days.
I saw a lot of cars like range rover,ML 320,Cayenne S,a few 5-series,and a s-350.It was boring for me,as I was standing alone,I then went to my car and thought of going to the nearby beach.On the way,I saw the Range Rover and the s-350 parked aside,which belongs to the same owner.I was able to take only 1 snap of the s-350,as the drivers in both the cars had to move them to their guest house.
Then,I came back to the spot and waited for a few minutes,then I saw Ilango's marina heading towards the spot,and he parked his car behind my car.We thought it wouldn't be a safe place for parking,as it was near the bus stop,and we headed for a better place where 4 cars can be parked.
Then,we called Zinam and cooldhaya,they said they were on their way in another 20 minutes.In the meantime,Ilango had bought a 5 pipe horn,which he showed me,it was really heavy.
After 30 minutes,Zinam,racerbadda,cooldhaya and his friend came and we all had a brief introduction,and it was the first time,myself and Ilango met racerdabba.While talking,I noticed a CLS making a u-turn far away from our place,and I asked to all guys,do you guys want to see a CLS?They didn't get me at first,then I showed them the car being parked at a marriage hall.Then,myself and racerdabba went on his Apache,and had a close look at the car and I took snaps of it,it was a brand new car(unregistered).
After taking photos of the CLS,we returned.Guys,for sure racerdabba drove like a racer in the 2 minute ride for me.Zinam took his camera and we all parked our cars in a quite descent manner and clicked a few snaps.Then,we went in search of a better place for taking photos.Then,we all headed for the pine trees,which was about 10 minuted rive from VGP.We reached that place,we were not sure of the road,as it was steep and irregular in shape.Then,we all got our rides down the muddy road,and parked it like a semi-circle,with the Apache of racerdabba in the middle,and the two vernas in the extremes.It seemed to be a good photo,the only drawback being the heat that we experienced.Then,racerdabba had to leave,as he had his project work and we all had numbers exchanged and he moved from the spot.
The heat was intolerable,and we headed for lunch at Anandha Bhavan,Mahabalipuram.While driving,we lost track of each other and then got connected and headed to mahabalipuram for lunch.There we saw a modified Lancer with 750 Li badge on its rear.I took a few snaps of it,it had replica kits like autopsyche's lancer named sting.
It was crowded like a market as it was sunday afternoon,after waiting for a few minutes,we got seats and ordered for any dish randomly selected,and finished our lunch,it was not bad.
Then,while coming out,I noticed a black SUV with the window arches with chrome beading on it,I suspected it to be a CR-V,then I asked the guys to wait for a minute and we went near the ar,to find that it was a brand new Audi Q5(unregistered).When we went near the car,the owner had come and he started the car,I took my camera and took snap of the while he was reversing it and when it went passed us,I took another snap of it.
The other guys didn't notice the car being parked in the spot and they all asked me how did you spot that car.
I said its just simple,as I always look on the roads for any car,either old or new,I would just keep looking at the car.
Then we planned to move towards chennai,and halted at Dolphin city,where it was spacious and it had shade for parking 4 cars.We had a mini photo shoot and after a long discussion about the cars passing by.
Finally,at around 03:45 pm,I had to say bye to the guys and started home,and the others headed to chennai.
So,that was the report about the chennai meet,I don't think that I left out any incident on that day.If i had not written,do mention it guys.I had a nice time with the people present on that day.

I think you missed that incident only you and me noticed! A M800 taking a sharp turn in order to avoid bumping into a Santro Xing?? Remember? We noticed it after hearing the tyre screeching noise from 800!!
