Sorry guys my co-rider /room mate fell ill. [:(] so couldn't go for the Ooty trip. But I did talk to a friend of mine who just went recently. He said he will share all the must see places and places to stay as well.

Hello mates. I am here after a loong time. Unfortunately, I wont be able to attend this meet . But by now we should have finalised a place. Lets give ourselves 2-3 days and finalise a place, and stick to it.
I think Coorg could a nice option. Especially, I like the drive from Coorg to Talacauvery. And decent stay at Coorg in reasonable price is available. One of the hotels I stayed there offers cottages. Has its own parking area, which can accomodate about 20 cars. Will post pics here.
Whatever place is finalised, we should do it within this week. Once finalised, I am sure, more people will come in.

Guraala and All,
I would not be able to view this TAI for about couple of weeks and so Will not be able to respond/update my details due to my travel to US. Dont have access to net as will be in Client location. But yes,Coorg is the best place and I will be sure in for this. I will try get the updates as and when i get time. Please count me in for this.

Guys, My colleague got back to me with details about his stay in ooty. He stayed in a hotel called 'Gaylord'. He said the stay was ok and hotel is next to the Railway station. Their site seems to be under repair but you can still check them out.

I got their g+ page here Hotel Gaylord.

He said there should be sufficient place to park our rides. Have to confirm with the hotel people on that though. The place was reasonably good and had good food also according to him. If we look around we may find better places also. This was suggested to him by their guide.

Nice piece of information and thanks for the same.

Since the meet dates are just 15 days away now and still we have not finalised the following things and I am worried and Mr.Sethu is also not active these days. So we need member volunteers from Chennai,Bangalore to make this happen.

1. We still need to finalise the Venue
2. Participants count as of now

So friends please post here on the confirmation part as we need to see what is the count like, if the count is very low, then

either we have to postpone this or I just think of a Bangalore chennai meet once again between chennai and bangalore(probably this time close to bangalore as the Independence day meet was close to chennai and this will be as Republic day meet)

Please throw your thoughts quickly

Let us wait sir. Still we have a weeks time. But I think the inter region meet may not be possible with very low numbers of members.

Ok, but it looks to me that confirmations are very less and we just cannot call it is as inter region meet, so we may have to postpone for some time due to the busy schedules of members, so

How about having a Chennai-Bangalore Republic day meet near Bangalore
