@ Gurrala74 Why can't we stay there for 26th night also sir? We can all leave together on 27th morning and reach our destination by late evening.

@ Ajith Will be really helpful if u can update the present road conditions bro!

I think we can fix some date in January 1st week as deadline for final member count and booking the rooms.

Dhaya, there is no problem as we can stay on 26th night too and start back on 27th morning and reach the destinations. That was only proposed because, after the two trip and reaching back home, people will have some time to address some personal things before they join back to offices on 28th.

Yeah we could fix deadline of confirmation based on that how many days before we need to book the rooms

Oh !! god this this seems to be hell after reading that review. why do we land in such nasty place.

Welcome back Sethu Sir [:-D].

Coorg is a nice option. Roads from coorg to Places of interest(Some of them like Thalacauvery, Abby falls etc) is not so good. I had been to coorg during Onam holidays with my family, as part of Mahindra Holidays program. I had to park my Eirene at the resort and Take out the bolero to negotiate the roads.

Not so bad, but not so good either for our sedans and hatches. But Coorg is heaven simply enjoyed my stay there and climate.

Even myself have visited coorg thats also known as madekeri or mecara.
Awesome place sir you could see my travelogue.
About accomadation there were more resorts in coorg that wont be a issue for you guys.
Distance would be
Bangalore to mysore 150 kms
And mysore to coorg 120 kms
I think there is some other route to cutshot mysore
Hope banglore guys would be knowing.

Bangalore to Coorg through Mysore has the best road. Travel time in less than 5 hours even with lots of traffic.

What are the attractions over Coorg? as ajith mentioned will our hatches/sedans will have problem in negotiating there?

Roads are heaven till Coorg(that's from Bangalore am Talking). From Coorg to places like Abby falls or Thalacauvery, had bad roads(Not offroading kind of bad, but with lots of small potholes). Eirene had her second run to Coorg during November and We went to Thalacauvery, apart from the constant bumpy ride, it was fine.

Lot of places to see there, I got a chance to see only two places. But I have heard there are lot of cool small places to see. When raining, the whole place looks so beautiful and is so cold.
