I am ok with any sweet spot in the city and I dont mind driving 200+ KMS for the meet. We have a coffee shop [not the coffee day type but the regulat roadside shop] in ECR. We shall meet up somewhere and drive along ECR? What say guys??

You idea is good, but open a new thread where more people will respond I think, because as this thread title is known to all that this meet has been called off, so they think some member is posting something on same subject

Missed this thread.

Initially, you know people just join in to post their query or get route info. I was one among them. Never planned of getting glued to this forum.

And now, I open this forum frequently than opening my mailbox. Reading every thread. Going thru each and every forum/sub forums.

Now I feel, I would have joined a bit earlier.

Can all of us plan for a family meet in GOA / Chikmagalur / Coorg /Pondichery /OR some other place for 1-2 Days . ? (I am not starting a separate thread as I do not know whether anyone interested).
If yes, I will join with my wife. I wont be able to take 1 week off.

If we start planning, we should not back out at last moment with excuses. (Even if it is 2-3 family). Getting 20-30 people with all date set would be really difficult

This was the thread i use to view every day to find out whats the status on the trip but unfortunately did not happen.
Appu- this is the peak season due to summer holidays for schools. I am not sure how is the availability of other memebers.

Hmm,

Yes, We put all our efforts, but couldn't materialise, but its ok such things happen. I think if it is a family meet and kids are involved, then most of them will finish their schools by April end so going to a place like Coorg or any other hill station sounds good and Goa will be pretty hot during that period. If it is singles then I think we can do it any time.

So I request members to participate in the thread and post their suggestions !!

Gurrala- the problem is most the IT companies have their holidays in Christmas time and so we or I utilize that period to travel out and not summer time.
Summer holiday time is for kids going to grand parents place so we parents have some peace.
