i might sound rude , but do give first priority to your semester , there will be many such meetings in your life . give priority to your studies life will smile at you and reward you in future.myself being an uneducated guy i can assure you this .

I should be able to make it for this meet (if there are no last minute personal/professional emergencies). As of now the dates seem to be fine with me since 25th is the only day ill have to take leave! RotiKallu resorts in Sakleshpur seems to be a fine place since i had heard a lot about it but haven't been there so far. So you guys can count me in.

Agree with Raja. Since your exam is till end Jan, you should concentrate on that. Many such meets will come.
But those who can make it, please make it yet another successful event. I am trying my best to get relieved from my job before 22nd January. If not, I wont be able to make it to the meet.

Guys I just wanted to know about Rotti-kallu and first page I opened is Rotti-kallu | Sakleshpur | Karnataka | India and saw this image



My god, this really pulls me towards this. I do not know know the present condition but love to be there.. any one interested? or with more info?

I just looked into the tariff and it seems to be okie [Rs.2700 which includes some fun drive, activities, stay and food] But we can bargain and try getting some concession if we go on good numbers.

Onre more clarification is is RottiKallu is a place or resort's name in a specific location?

Rottikallu seams to be a good place to me too, so it is near sakleshpur. there is no much difference in distance for sakleshpur or chickmaglur, but do we miss the tea gardens

January not being the season to visit these places,i think we could try our luck, but first we should confirm how many members will make it, for that we have to freeze the date on or before Jan 15, then we have to move forward with negotiations.

Gurrala, There can be a a lot more to covered /explore if we just drive. Chickmangaluru is a heaven created on earth for Nature lovers.
I am sure we will all have a much needed break and fun from this hectic city life.

Buddy i meant that there won't be much people visiting these places in January because schools will be started already so there won't be much tourists.But Saturdays and Sundays will have some visitors though,and yes it will be cold at that time.

Not much tourists has both plus and minus. we can get rooms at concessional rates. at the same time it may not be fun if we alone there.

And I think we will be able to manage the chillness than rain. Rain might be spoilsport sometimes.

How would be temperatures at point of the year, I feel Bangalore it self will be pretty cool
