Okie so the doubts raised by Mr.RK is done now. Only thing is still pending is Destination and result for debate of With or without families.

Yes even I prefare to come without families. But being my family has not gone much on such destinations, I thought I will take them with me. I do not know when I will visit again spending lot of money. Just sharing the info. Not forcing on anything.

lets plan a trip to Bangkok without families. lets have some true sense fun :p:
and if we do bulk booking in advance, we should be able to get good rates also.

Meet in bankok may be good.But, Meet without our rides will be too bad.

Man that is nice plan TAI Meet at Bannkok. Wont it it be costly?

if we plan and do all booking in advance say with air asia or so ( budget ) , it wont be that costly. and with type-r being from Bangkok, he can find us some reasonable resort.

also we will have to change the thread title to TAI's International meet :p:

So I think the date may change,

we need to start from Very first.

1st thing those who not having Passport, need to apply for it ASAP.

Once all confirmed there passport we will proceed to next

very very true. this time when i went in june and came back in august, i booked 4 months before. i bought two way ticket for 3400 baht = 5000 rupees. but it was from kolkata. other places are more expensive!

are there any travel agents among us who can help us get a good deal with air asia or any other flight.

if this is taken care off, we can plan a 2 night 3 day or 3 night 4 day stay in a resort where i hope type-r can help us, If we are spending in tune of @ INR 10 to 15k/head, atleast we should plan a trip for 3 nights else we will feel we just came and left

I have not been to thailand so cant comment much.

Hey guys,

Thank you for your enthusiasm of a TAI 1st meet abroad, but please let this inter region meet happen, then we will take some to draw the plan, estimate the cost and do the bookings and will also give time to our members who want to take the passport and have that Bangkok meet. Till then please contribute to this meet and it is an open invitation to every TAI member across India to join on us for this inter region meet planned in Jan'2013.

You know something, "slow and steady wins the race", so let us plan one by one, So members are requested to continue the discussion in-line with this thread please.
