Re: Supreme Court’s Order – No Sunfilms Allowed from 4th May 2012

[sarcasm] Why they are not removing? If they can go like that, we can also. We have the right. :) [/sarcasm]

Rules are for following. If someone puts right indicator to turn left, that is not to be followed by everyone.

These days, even government vehicle's tinted screens are removed in Bangalore (most of them).
Still see few cars with tinted and even few with real dark tinted.

Anyways,
Drive Safe & Follow the Rules
It's very different in Delhi. Most of the cars are not having tinted glasses anymore, not the govt. cars either. Yes, there are a few exceptions, but I see them getting fined and removing the films on the spot. Good job on DTP's part.

Hyundai has all round solar tint glass in SX models of Elantra. These are really good ones in sub-20L cars.

I have seen many cars in KL having tints on rear windshield & backdoor glasses too. When I asked one of them about this, he said, the rule is only for the front 2 windows. [frustration]

I have it in my back glass only. But not faced any problem still. Some of my friends are running with all tints(films) light shade, and no issues.

Police do checking now a days, when they are in mood, 90% times they are not.

I also have not removed the sun film although I have been fined for 2nd times of 100 bucks each. I am fearing the summer heat.

Every time I got caught is at weekday's noon/lunch time. On that time traffic will be very less and easy to caught us. Thinking to remove those sometime but again sometime not.

Now a days police are quite casual about this. More so if the tints are light.
They are more interested in No Parking, Over speeding and drunken driving as fines for those categories are more.
