@raja i agree . At last its ones own choice and decision.

@gurrala74 hmmm There's a point in your view too. Why not get wiser with other's point of view. We all got wiser in the process and came to know each other better too.

re: Suggest a New Android Phone Around 15k

RK ,
I have been reading all the posts with enthusiasm and learnt something new about several models too. Being a user of Samsung Galaxy ace plus , i would like to chip in with my experience. The phone is good, user friendly, feature rich ( with android apps), nice 5MP camera but if net (mobile or wi-fi both) is accessed through it , the battery drains off fast(within half a day in my case). If the user is mostly having access to charging point ,no worries. I dont have any comments on the other two phones.

cheers
Hmm, Thanks Ajey for your kind update, see friends I am going in circles to read such experiences. In showroom when you operate and see everything looks good, but in real world some are pathetic and once you buy it, you cannot change your decision just like that !![:)] Hope my point is valid.

@ajey

How is internet browsing speed, visibility of the pages and navigation
If we do not use internet then how long the battery losts
Hope camera quality is good, I have seen some pics of your kerala trip
Have you found any other issues, for how much you bought it and how old is this

+100 Ajey,

I am trying to do the same, if we have to go and select a car for our use then, there is no place for the forums like this, we try and spend our time in discussing the pros and cons with the owners and try to take a best decision with the use of forums[:)]

Mods, sorry for back to back posts, as I did not notice carabiker new message

Like Raja mentioned go to Croma or EZone and have a look by yourself, it might be possible that you would end buying something else as well. All the mobiles mentioned have their own sets f pros and cons. These are budget phones, not high end phones like IPhone 5, S3 or Note. So there is always some sort of trade off and we have to live with it.

As far as I have gone through internet reviews, all 3 are good at the price range. Now it is your turn to see which one suits you best.

see this and be more confused.
Huawei unveils cheapest dual core Android smartphone for Rs 5700

where is the vfm for your choices?[lol]
[surprise]. RK Leave everything, buy this one you wont regret, If it works for one year also consider your investment is worth and after one year buy a new one. [clap]. One of my Colleague had mobile from Huawei, and it was nice. He is still using it, bought it some 7-8 months ago. But colleague had left the firm so cannot give you the latest update on the same.

By opting for this, I do not want to leave my present company Dharmesh[lol]

Jelly bean is 4.2
ICS is 4.0
gingerbread is 2.3
i guess this should be a No brainer with regards to the latest OS.
simple logic applied is that their names are applied in alphabetical order
G,H for honeycomb for tablets.
I for ICS
J for jellybean.

JB is the best as of now - faster, better battery and more smooth.

jelly bean is 4.1 and 4.2

ginger bread is the mostly used one (80+ %) and a stable but it lacks new features and doesnt give much support to multicore processors.
ICS - according to me its like windows vista- new features but still buggy and laggy OS, eats lot of RAM
jelly bean- project butter is awesome. 99% no lag, lot of new added features , eg- google now(similar to apple's siri), swipe keyboard , etc,.

im currently on ICS but im happy with it.

re: Suggest a New Android Phone Around 15k

@Gurrala,

Sorry for the very late reply.

Here is my experience with my "Samsung Galaxy Ace S-6802 Duos"

I'm using this mobile for past 6 months.

Features:
  • Wi-Fi Enabled
  • 5 MP Primary Camera
  • 832 MHz Processor
  • 3.5-inch Capacitive Touchscreen
  • Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS
  • Dual Active SIM (GSM + GSM)
  • FM Radio
  • Expandable Storage Capacity of 32 GB
No flash light, Front camera available in this model.

I brought mobiles in Chennai, one for myself & another one for my friend Dinesh for Rs.12,900. Recently I've heared it was selling for Rs.11,900. Don't know the current rate.

We two are satisfied with its performance.

During my Sabarimala trip, I fully used GPS in my mobile & I not faced any problem.

Regarding battery condition, As it is Dual sim & I'm using the MP3 Player, Browsing, Chatting and games regularly. Because of this the battery drains in 10-12Hrs.

I think you may aware that I'm online in TAI always, Because of my mobile[:D]

For only attending the calls it stands for one and half days.

And about the clarity, I think I no need to tell to you. you already visted Vellore To Sabrimala - Road Query & Highwayranger's thread.

the clarity is really rocks.

Now its yor turn, you need to decide.Let me know your decision[;)]
