I have checked its specs and price on ebay which is 175 dollors !!

Except processor, i did not find some great things from that and lot of reviews says that it is good for games and its battery back up is not good as lot of battery back is last with applications loaded on the phone. Lot people say that some routing is required, upgrade to ICS, lot many things.
Some screen is super amol something, what do i do with that and there is always a risk that it is from ebay and if something goes wrong where should i go, how it is VFM for my kind of usage ??

To put in simple words, I am happy with my wave 525 except its browsing speed, so what i need is little better processor and i have 3.2MP and if something is more than that will do, thats all and a reliable brand samsung/nokia which never go wrong most of the times.
Sorry all the above is my personal opinion and not to degrade the usage of pantech, but may be it is not required for me and I am scared of buying something which is famous in other country and do not have back in our country, it is like this if something goes wrong I should go and through the mobile to the showroom fellow or get it serviced near my next street[:)]

Yes at par with the competition.
If one remembers idea was selling a phone for some 7k earlier which was nothing but a huawei phone called huawei blade.
Before being sold as blade it was sold as dell xcd 35 or something 2 years back for 13k or so.
It was very much vfm then during the days of eclair and froyo.
Their actual cost was much lower and it was sold as orange san francisco in the uk around 5k.
Many had imported those phones from uk then.
And they were still running fine without any hardware issues except physical damage which No phone company in the world covers in warranty.

it is a better processor, fast browsing it is already 4G ready.
Regarding reliability all such phones have more or less common hardware an ARM processor, Qualcom chipset.
Unless there is physical damage there wont be any hardware issues.
All such issues would be software related which will be fixed with their new iteration of androids.

I remember you saying a product should be such which would not need much after sales.
Pantech is a japanese company.and i still believe japanese have better electronics QC than their chinese counterparts.
Finally its your call.
There should not be any remorse left when your hardware struggles 6 months down the line.

1. Is there any such store in Delhi where I can see pantech directly ?
2. What is this mini sim thing ??

If you are still apprehensive do not buy a phone now.
By first quarter 2013 nokia lumia 620 should be available at around 12k. Buy that since it would be a windows 8 device

Micro sim is the same SIM card in your phone but in smaller size , the place from where I bought my nokia phone had a sim cutter the cut the sim and installed in the phone .
For my wife we went to vodaphone they gave a micro SIM card for free after requesting them . Micro SIM card is nothing but a SIM card in smaller size which is fitted in a smaller slot inside the phone .
