Got the first scratch on my Polo today on the left side front bumper. My cousin was driving the car and I was sitting in the passenger seat and it just happened because of lack of judgement maybe as we were going through a very narrow street in Kasauli and he touched a cycle rickshaw standing on the left side. Don't think it can be removed either. Though a small one and can go unnoticed but still my heart literally sunk seeing it. Haven't clicked any pic of the scratch as I am still outside. Will put it up by tonight.

Oh. that's sad. Don't worry! Small mistakes happen even if it hurts a lot.
I am thinking of touching up all the scratched parts. Or buy a paint myself and touch up whenever required!

Just met the SE who assisted us while buying our Polo outside in the market sometime back. Asked him if he knows about the features added in the updated Polo CL and TL variants.
According to him many features have been added in the Comfortline variant - Rear defogger and wiper wash, front fog lamps,electrically adjustable OVRM ,a fully functional MID are a few which he told me.
On Trendline model, all the colors are available now. That is a welcome move IMO.
Asked him about the smoked headlamps and the cost of its fitting if I wanted in mine. He didn't know about the same but assured of reverting back with the details soon.
They have received the new Vento in the showroom but the updated Polo would be coming in the next shipment by this weekend. Would be going to check it out then.
I think now buying the Comfortline with the added features makes more sense than the Trendline. Although Highline would make the best buy with the all the safety features.

I think it makes more sense to buy the highline variant now more than ever. These features are really nice to have and leaves very less desired to have in a fully loaded hatch.
This weekend I am going to the workshop for servicing, I hope I get to see the new polos/ventos.

Yes the Highline makes the best buy and with the added features and a 40k lesser price tag it makes all the more sense. And I really love the alloy wheels in the new Highline Polo. Don't really know how much would they would cost.

Have you got alignment and balancing done? Steering behaves like this mostly in case of wheels going our of alignment. Do you hear any noise also from steering?
Also try to reduce air pressure. If you are driving alone, try keeping 300psi on all four tyres.

I hope they are not that expensive this time.
I happen to visit VolksWagen Ambala showroom. They had only one new Polo which was being delivered. It was a white Comfortline Diesel. Changes noted are -
1. Gear knob design slightly changed.
2. Front Fog lamps
3. Rear Defogger and wiper
4. One touch down all 4 power windows with anti-pinch safety feature.
5. 15inches tyre with new design of wheel covers which look really good. Look more meaty!
6. Multi functional display with Mileage, Distance to empty, Temperature , etc.
7. Electronic adjustable OVRM
Expecting Trendline and Highline to arrive in about next 20-25days. Not before that.

I really don't know about Jaipur. About Delhi, everyone on the forum seems to be praising the VW Delhi West Motinagar service people.
Although I think Rightnow and ToughGuy can guide you better regarding service stations in Delhi.
