My car had her first service today. Went to HMP Chennai. Charges were 0.00 - sweet isnt it ![[:D]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Big%20Smile.gif "Big Smile [:D]")
They fixed the grill for me. Looks like a lock was broken inside the grill and they replaced the lock for free as well.
A General Check was done and the car was cleaned. Car was with them for 3 hours. The ambience was good. The way they treat the customers is good. The Service Advisor was very kind and was very responsive. I was very satisfied with the service though nothing major was done in the car.
The clutch feels a lot smoother now. That is the only change I noticed in the car while driving. My ICE was reset and I had to pair my phone again.
Checked with the Service people about suspension upgrade for the Verna - they said they havent heard anything about suspension upgrade and HMP would be the first people to come to know about any announcements. Right now they are busy with the new Sonata launch.
Also had an argument with them for the quality of the bumper - they said they cannot do anything about that and it is by the design.
I had a chance to peek through a new Sonata which was in the showroom for a photoshoot. Man - the car was awesome. They didnt let me to click any pictures.

thats great aristo. but its weird that some dealerships say the upgrade comes next month and many say its fake/dont know

@Nick - Just talked to him again - He would have probably driving at around 40 km/hr when he hit the monkey. Total cost of the bumper came up to Rs. 7800. Will get more details when I meet him over the next weekend.
ahh sweet had another bumper incident on saturday luckily it dint break but the retention locks did. fixed it with araldite

new my dealer says its not. checked with another dealer they said the last tab was for retorqing bolts which was in september

It is Rs. 7000 and got a gift coupon for Rs. 500. So actually it is 6500. Got it from Mom & Me and this is Mahindra's own brand.
man i remember my childhood days a bit now. Thats the best way to travel with an infant onboard. why don't you keep the seat in the middle? will be safer. i was advised to keep these kind of seats in the middle only due to curtain airbags.

The user manual says to install the car seat using lap and shoulder belts. Unfortunately Verna has just lap belts at the center - plus mine is SX and it does not come with Curtain Air Bags. So I guess my little one should be good
