Jeno, if possible post some pictures of Pets Box installation.
Actually i didn't take any photos of installing the box, though i was there while installing. It didnt take more than 15 mins. A connector from the engine was removed and it was connected via the box. And the change was not instant. For the first day i was not able to notice any change and was disappointed , but after couple of days , the change was very obvious. Dont know the logic behind this... May be the box takes its time to learn the settings from the ECU or something? [confused]

Does the pete's box fixed in place of stock ECU or will it be connect with the stock ECU.

Sorry I don't know much info about this. Is it a direct fit ? Or needs any sort of mods in wiring.

There is no modifications or wiring done. It is just PLUG-AND-PLAY. It is a simple DIY. We can unplug it whenever we want. I have attached a picture for better understanding. Sorry for my bad drawing skills [:D] .

Yeah sure. I will take a snapshot this weekend and post it. And the box is sitting safely inside the Battery Cover.

WHAT NEXT?

With added power , we need more control. And my shocks are reaching its end of its life. And there are only two things which might need replacement withing next..well.. 20000 kms. (except oil,filter...). The Shocks and the Clutch [frustration] . But clutch seems to be just fine. Shocks can also be used for another 10k kms, but i got an offer of USED BILSTEIN B6 for octavia, for 30k. New will cost around 45 k. Its 2 years used, but the owner claims that , it has been used only for less than 5k kms.

What would you guys suggest?? And an expert (who is a petes dealer) informed me that B6 has almost unlimited life (till the end of your car). I will surely have this car for atleast another 50k though i want to have it till it reaches 2 lakh on ODO [:D] .

I hope he did it for 45k
taking corners were a breeze you never know at what sped you are driving
Managed to do 140 but due to traffic had to brake and was trapped in B2B

If you have the Money and is going to keep the car for a while then go ahead its worth upgrade [clap]
May be you could ask pete's guy to arrange a TD of Octavia with B6 suspension
because each people have different views

Based on what i am reading about B6, i am very much ready to buy one.

Already booked it. [clap] Will be fitted in 2 weeks time.

Reasons for going for B6

-> Unlimited life (im not in an idea to sell this car)
-> Fits with OEM Springs(need not compromise on already low GC)
-> With more power, arises the need for more control(Petes tuning box is already in)
-> My stock shocks have only about 5k life left. And already the bushes have worn out.

Vishak , your views/comments were extremely useful in making the decision.
