In Pune and Mumbai, the new price will take effect from midnight, petrol to cost 5.25 more.

Price of petrol from 15th May for Pune and Mumbai will be @70 INR/lt

Yes petrol bunks are already flooded with vehicles , every car i saw was filling up their tanks! It took nearly 20 mins for me and my friend to fill petrol in his bike![frustration]

Same here i went to fill my vehicle with petrol.
They have literally started closing bunk, and not dispensing fuel more than Rs.200. In one bunk they are giving fuel in cans and not directly to vehicle.[anger]

Hawk was made full tank 2 days before.[:)]

I know we're creatures of habit and this spike happens just before every fuel price hike. But if we were to take a step back and think, it actually looks very funny.

Take for example, a motorcycle with 10 liter fuel tank capacity. Assuming that a rider wants to fill his tank, it would cost him 50 rupees more tomorrow than it would today. Or an automobile with 50 liter fuel capacity would cost 250 more tomorrow. This, with a tank full on an empty tank. Actual available capacity would understandably be much less due to available fuel and reserve capacity.

My question is simple. Is the struggle worth the money?

See filling tank now would save max 100-200 rupees later on but what will happen afterwards ? Petrol rates in India are very high already and now approx Rs. 5/- hike. What is it going on ? Again sell of Diesel vehicle will improve further and Govt. would say that they would remove subsidy from Diesel as well.

I dont know when will people start thinking from a "Aam Admi ke angle se" ??

So Banglooreans are being ripped of totally, the price of Petrol in Bangalore is highest in India.
Its 71.10 Rs/ ltr.[frustration]
2 years back it was 46.50 / litre.
