Both ford and Renault will play games on who will launch first and price it in what range and observe market reaction to it . But the duster will launch first for sure as it is more in ready to launch phase then the ecosport . For me I have to decide between 3 strome,ecosport, duster.

renault has pretty small dealer network and they are planning to increase their dealer network before the launch. not that it is a bad thing but by that time M &M is going to launch their compact Suv. so it is going to be interesting to watch.

Both ford and Renault will play games on who will launch first and price it in what range and observe market reaction to it . But the duster will launch first for sure as it is more in ready to launch phase then the ecosport . For me I have to decide between 3 strome,ecosport, duster.

If time frame for purchase is less, I would bet on storme for the simple reason that we know atleast all major facts about the UV, while in case of ecosport & duster we are still blank to large extent. And if the pricing hits 10L for diesel, then it has to be storme, not to forget that the engine capacity of ecos & duster will be far less than storme, & no 4x4 available either.

Thanks for pic. From pic, it looks quite small, maybe just like a hatch with high GC. I didn't liked the road presence of Yeti, so if this is same or less in size, then .

Renault will be targeting duster for city buyers only. I don't think rural people will fall for this UV as it doesn't seem that rough for rural use.

M & M will bring mini-xylo (the name maybe different) with verito engine of 1.5L, but seeing spy pics, mini-xylo looks smallest of the lot.

Yes I will consider the mini suv from mahindra too but if it is mini xylo then iam little worried about the shape and handling part.

Iam ready to wait till year end as later part of the year I won't be in India . Family is bowled over the look of ecosport if it is priced sensibly and offers decent space and if it handles like the new ford feista I will seal the deal and look no further but since knowing ford and their pricing antics I have kept the duster option open and strome ( since every one are saying it has many attributes of the aria ) the year end is going to be exciting for sure.

Family is bowled over the look of ecosport if it is priced sensibly and offers decent space and if it handles like the new ford feista I will seal the deal and look no further but since knowing ford and their pricing antics I have kept the duster option open and strome ( since every one are saying it has many attributes of the aria ) the year end is going to be exciting for sure.

I wonder, MSIL could do anything wrong. I mean, whatever they throw in the market, it works. Excluding premium things like Kazashi or Grand Vitara. Probably, people in India do not consider MSIL as a premium car manufacturer at all.

As far as Duster is concerned, if priced correctly. It will create storm in the market IMHO.

You are spot on about duster infact it will shake even the scorpios and safaris too. Pricing is the key.
