But sadly both Manza and Verito suffer from bad sales number's.

Interiors stand nowhere vs Dezire.
It will be tuff for verito to take fight to dezire unless maruti strike runs for months

And its not just interiors, even the handling of Dzire is far more superior than Verito. Verito is just another car, nothing special about it. Those interested in driving will pick Dzire any day or Fiesta Classic. Verito shall remain a facelifted cab.

Btw, why M & M is trying to please Renault by using same design ? Hell with Renault, can't M & M design its own car ?

No buddy, then why does taxi fleet owners buy Veritos instead of Dzires?
FYI, Ford fiesta parts are cheaper than Swift Dzire.

I feel Verito as a good option, and would buy Verito instead of any car in the segment if we were to purchase a 5 seater.

+100 it's more bang for your every buck .

+1000, I have visited yesterday one of the Mahindra showroom near to me, believe or not there was not place to stand inside !!

Full of crowd just checking two cars. A XUV 500 and A new Verito and showroom-Head came to me and apologetic for not offering a XUV 500 or Verito facelift TD immediately as there is a long queue

This was really and impressive scene at Mahindra for the first time !!

It can seat 5 people yes but in comfort I doubt there is no under tigh support believe me it's just a bench nothing else.

Very true. Those interested in just driving will have a driver's car. Even better, a driver's car to satisfy a driver's pangs. And a family car to carry family in comfort, and an offroader for those offroad stints. But unfortunately, most of us cant have such luxury. We look for a vehicle, which fulfills a bit of everything as per our priority. And like other budget sedans, Verito fits very well here. But here's a taxi image attached to it. And its a pity, not for the car, but our mental handicap.

Thanks buddy, i know you are an Manza owner given a chance to you to buy a new car will you put your money on Manza or this new Verito as both are very fine product.

As of now, I am satisfied with the performance of my car ( best I could have bought in the budget I had). Verito is very fine product. Excellent build quality, spacious, good engine, low maintenance costs. But here are few points to be noted:

• 1.5 DCI engine is bigger than 1.3 MJD and definitely could churn out more power, but unfortunately is set for lower power delivery. Can MM do something about it?
• Passenger airbag is sadly missing in Verito.

If above can be properly addressed, I can go for Verito, if buying a new car. My view is based on my ownership experience of TATA Manza.

It ranges from 13 to 19.6 kmpl. In city, on an average 14-15. Waiting for 1st oil change and expect some improvement.
