Refreshed Mahindra Verito Launched @ Rs.5.27 Lakhs

I happened to see a New Verito today, but sorry friends I could not take any snaps of it. It was white color beauty.

It is very impressive, I never used to like the Logan or previous verito, but fallen for this. Its awesome and I felt it is more good than Swift Dzire and Toyota Etios !! No offence of Maruti & Toyota lovers

I some how feel that with XUV and this Verito M&M is becoming serious contender !!

Many people have argued that the Dacia Logan is a lesser car, just because it is cheap and comes from a country they think of as backward. Well, the chaps in the video have rolled a Logan over many times and it seems that the Romanian car is still going.

In the video alone, they do it twice, and by the looks of the car, we say it has been done multiple times before. The driver is held in place with a racing harness, and while you may thing the car has a full roll cage, you’d be wrong - there’s a bar to prop up the roof and that's it. Also, with everything but the exhaust manafold removed, the Logan sounds like an old rally car, as you can hear from the video.

While that may not seem very safe, it seems to be holding up well, testament to how well the Logan was actually made in the first place. Small wonder then that it is now so popular in western Europe, where nobody expected it to sell at all, because it does what it does well enough for people not to be bothered by its shortcomings.

I wonder how the new Verito will be received in our market.

Checked the pictures of the current Dacia Logan. The Verito exterior is deeply influenced by it. Only in the interiors is the Mahindra influence noticeable.

You are right the dezire interiors are modern and pleasing no wannabe looking and very simple yet classy and in the mini review you can see I wrote veritos interiors can't match .

Dezire comes no where near when we talk about the value for money Verito offers. And you dont need to wait for months.. Had Verito offered 2 airbags, I would have gone for it instead of Manza.
And the new Verito looks much better.

I say Verito is more VFM because,

One of the cheapest sedan available in India.
Proven 1.5 DCI engine.
SPACIOUS
Comfortable
Excellent build quality.
No long waiting period

Swift too is a good car, but over rated. And add to it our mob mentality.

And Verito being a good car as well, add to it the Taxi image. VFM goes down the drain at this point......, atleast in Indian market.

Not really buddy. Verito's spares are really really cheap. After the recent hikes in Maruti's spares, I can even assume that Dzire will be more expensive to maintain than the Verito.

During Logan days, yes. Not now. And maintenance cost is much less.
Look at the major cab companies. Meru has mostly Logans. After years of service, they remain rattle free. Maintenance cost is very less.
Its very difficult for a Maruti to get Taxi image in India. While any other manufacturer brings a cheap and good car, it gets taxi image. MM is also responsible for it. But the VFM tag remains intact for the car. My opinion.

Whatever you wrote is correct but believe me you will miss the sofa in vertio which you have in your current ride .
The overall feel inside the vertio cant match that of manza iam sorry to say but price wise hands down it's supremely vfm

Yes you're right. And Manza is yet another VFM car.
