friends,
i saw the accident yesterday around 5pm in polur-thiruvanamali road, between White Amby and Navy blue Getz.
(SORRY FOR NO PICS. I'm running out of time to reach office at chennai office within 9pm)
The Accident happened 5-10min before i reach that palce.That was a sharp turning, Getz tried to overtake an auto, but in opposite side Amby came & leads to the collision. B'coz of the accident the road was blocked for 15min.
front of Getz was totally meshed upto A-pillar, small injury to Driver & Co-driver.For Amby the damage was upto front tyre only, but nothing happened to Amby driver & co-driver.
suspects gone to thiruvanamali Govt. hospital with the help of 108 ambulance.later the police called tow vehicle to clear the Getz from the road, but Amby moved by its own power.so the traffic was cleared slowly.

Amby Vs Getz , no doubt the Amby was still able to move on its own. A lesson learnt by the Getz driver , never overtake at curves. Too bad he had to learn it the hard way!

now that's our indian muscle car . I remember my friend who used to drive scooter very fast in roads which doesn't suit for that kind of road after accident he drive his scooter so slow even road where you drive fast

That is more of an ironical video. Had the biker not attempted to stunt on that narrow road, this crash would not have happened at all. I believe the three wheeler driver would have braked hard and steered towards right to avoid collision when he observed that bike has come to a sudden halt.

Rowan Atkinson a.k.a Mr. Bean crashed his car after slipping and spinning off a wet road.
He was in his Mclaren F1 and the super car crashed on the A605 at Haddon near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire on Thursday evening. He was lucky to be alive. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported the car spun around several times, ran into a tree and a lamp post, but Atkinson managed to walk away from the vehicle before it caught fire. Reports say that he wasn't speeding. And just had a minor shoulder injury. He is now out of hospital as well.

Rowan Atkinson is also an automobile enthusiast and owns some real nice luxury and sports cars. This was one of the most expensive cars in his collection, I think.

Yes he is and yes again, that was the most expensive in his garage. Actually a McLaren F1 is like a safe investment, Its value has multiplied many times over through the years.
The same car had crashed before as well. And thats the picture of the crashed wreck this time.

A car can , If the driver is fumbling with the phone or trying to pick something that fell off the dash board.

It wont just be a broken bumper. Just look at a crash test video. 40Kmph is not as slow as you think it is I'm afraid. And I also believe that the Maximum speed limit on the A605 is 60 Mph.
