Waiting for your first service report soon. What is the estimate they have given you for the service ?
Thanks GM88
First Service 15000KM update:
Got my Polo TDI delivered yesterday after the first service from VW-Delhi West (Moti Nagar), total billed amount for first the service was INR 11545, i didn't opted for interior cleaning and AC lubrication which further may dent me by 3-4K more. Since my Polo is only around 6-7 Months old so didn't opted AC lubrication and interior cleaning will go for them on next service which surely is not that far considering the present run.
Service center
VW Delhi-West (Moti Nagar), this place is overloaded had to wait for more than a hour for job even after a week prior booking, reason: customers dropping in for service without service booking and they entertain them which surely is ridiculous and big turn off.
Other than that vehicle was delivered in second half next day as promised due to heavy rush.
Service center need to upgrade based on the volume of the vehicles, better planning and coordination is require.
Damages
- One under body intercooler lock has been damaged due to some bottom scrapping
- Brakes pads need to need to be inspected at 22000KM
Changes noticed after first service and 100KM drive
- Clutch becomes easy now compared to earlier
- Engine noise reduced considerably
- Overall car is more refined now
Conclusion
-Maintenance of German car is little costlier compare to dirt cheap Maruti and Hyundai cars, but overall ride, handling and comfort compensate this aspect for me.
