Am sure the one posted by RSM wont be making its way here!! Even if it does it will not come with those interiors , the dash and door trims are looking excellent in that picture!! We cannot expect that from Maruti here in India!!

It probably will be the 1.0 litre K-series for the Alto. But it is to be expected next month,Thats cause the euro 4 will come into force and I dont think that the 0.8 litre 3 pot engine can be made to be euro 4 compliant nor will it be that easy to do so.. So it has to be in April. What do you think?
Just thinking out loud here, but the engineers in Maruti are quite capable of achieving that. The engine serving the EECO is basically a modified G Series, and that was first seen (the G Series) in the Esteem and the Zen. This is obviously BSIV compliant.
So we can wait and see if there are any surprises in store for the F Series!!
But there are also the statements floating around from MSIL that they will be shifting over completely to the K series engine ... they have already done quite a bit on that front.
Well, April is not far way!!

The side profile looks good, and the rear isn't too bad either. Interior quality seems good in these pictures as well, though we will have to see it in person. But i believe MSIL have messed up the front. It could have looked way better. The front-end doesn't exactly gel well with the edgy and modern look of the rest of the car.

Interiors were anyway due for a change, as they looked flimsy and decades old. They have also messed up with the Wagon R's key strengths, its easy-to-drive nature and all-round visibility by raising the height of the dashboard and shrinking the windows. These points were crucial for many people, who favored the earlier Wagon R for its user-friendliness.
