I am in dilemma whether to get Alto 800 (lxi /Kolkata price) @3.6 Lakhs or Honda Brio at 4.6 lakhs. I feel that alto 800 comes with same package expect new body. So in my opinion I feel its really overpriced for 800cc car.

And its looks is not original at all that keep me away from loving the design of the car. From front it looks like a Figo and from back Hyundai i20. Really great design by Suzuki.

How come they do like this. There was a actor in Tamil industry who had two films and both the film has same story line. When ever I see the actor or the movie Myself and my wife used to think how dump that actor could be so that he can choose two movies with same story line. I remember that when ever I see this comparison.

Yup that's my point. Why can't Suzuki adapt a new design for Alto 800 :(
We have seen great looking bike from Suzuki but why can't they do same for cars??:(

And except Swift all design from suzuki looks the same.

yesterday i visited maruthi showroom to check out the new alto 800. its prices 3.72 on road here in my place for the top end LXi with airbag petrol. lovely colours , the dealership had only the LXi versions around 15 cars , in that 3 cars with airbag and 5 cars with brown dash. the demo vehicle had sony music system without speakers [surprise] but they didnt offer a test drive.

features i like

nice boot space compared to old alto
just 2000 more than the older version
steering designs and the AC vents position , though the dash looks smaller than the older one
rear boot has an unique design. boot opener is inside the cabin

some features that i hate,
the space between the wheel arches and the tyres are more
front bumper design without fog lamps
single DIN on dash
side door pads are not plastics, the top portion(around 2 inch) is plastic and cardboard(similar to M800) covers the rest.
gears are tight.
the base model (didnt see actually and its told by the person there) no powersteering and the plastic console covering the gear rod will not be there . base model price 2.90L on road
the silencer pipe position and construction didnt impress me
NO provision for speakers on front door pads from company. you have to cut the pad inorder to setup one and the dealers will not do that part
OVRM on driverside only with internal adjustments . build quality is very poor

Tenida,

My suggestion is go with JVC. I am very happy with it and it is really simple and effective when fitted with JVC coaxial speakers on rear parcel tray !![clap]

Thanks buddy. So, can you suggest any model with 4 speaker. ICE should have CD/USB/AUX-in/Bluetooth. Any model that gives speaker free.

MSD quoted one Kenwood model @9.9K (cd/aux-in/usb/blueetooth)with one sets of speaker free.

Tenida,

Right now I am in travel to Delhi. So I do not remember the model of mine, it is with CD/USB/ but bluetooth ready only I did a mistake there I have notice it after long time. So there is a different model with bluetooth where you can pair your phone directly. I think try if you have a JVC authorised dealer near your place and go there the price will be much less than MGA. But just ask him to fit it with clips and should not cut wires. The model I bought I also got coaxial rear speakers free as that was called Combo pack of JVC and for front I have installed sony. Never Instal rear speakers on the doors, if you want good sound output rear parcel tray is better. Kenwood used to be good, but I was not impressed with them when I was buying last year. If possible go for JBL rear speakers for rocking sound !!
