Anyway , Did the wiper arms scratched your glasses deep or no marks at all ?

It didn't leave deep scratches and even if it did scratch it its not noticeable.

Yes where my car is parked. It's on the main road.
My verna's orvm were stolen once along with 8-9 cars' orvm(innova, fortuner , q7) the innova parked next to my car was stolen.
Another fortuner got stolen recently from the same spot.

Thanks mithra for your wishes. There was not much color options. I wanted starsust color( dark grey) but don't know why hyundai skipped it. They only make red , blue , white , black and silver. Not blue or red , already have a verna in white(even though i initially booked the white color) , black os difficult to maintain. Even the advisor didn't know about this. They always check stock at the plant before taking a booking and it felt odd that every color was available but the stardust. Saw that only 5 colors are available in the brochure.

Car crossed the 4k mark. The nvh is so brilliant. Even when i push the car there's just no engine sound. It moves effortlessly and not a habit of mine but this car reached 47kmph in the first gear. I would have upshifted early if the car wanted me to

Getting outstanding mileage in city on this car. I have started taking the car to my work from this week and mileage and average speeds have come down since the road that i take has dense traffic.
Other than the reverse gear issue and the seats don't have any problems.

I echo on NVH comment. Absolutely brilliant. My SX(O) AT is delight to drive. Getting 8 to 8.5 in worst bumper to bumper traffic, getting 9.5 to 10 on the stretch where I used to get 11 on City CVT which I feel excellent for this car. Everything else is fantastic. Little bit lightness (or may be vagueness) on steering which I need to get used to I guess. Highway trip yet to be done expecting around 16kmpl + on highway for my type of sedate driving..

Latest odo reading.
Hyundai personnel came home for the 2nd home visit. He brought along a cleaner and cleaned and polished the exterior.
Again complained him of the reverse gear issue and the uncomfortable seats. He said he will provide free pick and drop last tuesday but the call never came nor did i call again. It's just a formality , these home visits.

Will update the mileage since ac usage has reduced.

The volume knob on the center console is placed on the driver's side. That's really stupid and should have been placed on the passenger side.


*Reverse gear issue still persist.
* Seat covers pending.
*Changed my phone and the OP5T has much better sound output than the Galaxy s6. Don't think I will need to change the speakers now.

Had an accident yesterday. An ecosport tyre did this. Was not expecting this much damage.

Car hit an ecosport. Elantra rides low and the spare tyre is mounted high so the bonnet took the hit. The spare tyre caused this dent.
Advisor called me and said the front bumper and grill has a crack so told him to replace both the parts. Will get the car tomorrow and will update.

Yes garware is a different brand but i read here on tai only that garware provides sunfilms to 3M.

The 3M CR70 costs 6000+rs just for the front. Ao a set of 3m for the front and side will easily breach 10k mark.
And the specifications are same as garware. I paid 4500rs in total (200rs discount) and yes this includes installation as well.
And i have been using the same set of films in my figo and verna as well installed from the same shop and the same installer. His work is really good.
The rear window was finished with 2 pieces and he asked me if i could find the joint :p i couldn't.

And in 5 years i was stopped only once and that too for rear roller blinds and not the sunfilms. My sister was stopped once on the figo only when both the front windows were down and the cop could easily make out the difference between the rear and the front. 70% VLT isn't that dark and like i mentioned above i wanted ececool elite for the sides as well but they were 50% VLT so rejected.
Garware is VFM compared to 3m and if you want to install it ask your mearby shops for quotes. If they are higher come to model town, i will tell you the shop.

Bro,thinking to get sunfilms installed in my Honda City by this week.Can you tell me whats the difference between 50% VLT and 70% VLT?And,Im getting it for Rs.2500 at my local accessories shop.

50% VLt means 50% of light will pass through the film and so on. Which brand for 2500rs ? Front or sides ? You should tell all the details.
