Amazing new additions, bro. The pedals look lovely. Can u click a long shot of the gear knob? Seems a bit big in the close-up.

Havn't been able to read the insurance details you both have put up ..sorry abt that. Will add my 2 cents and a few more queries tomorrow : ) Thanks for the prompt response tho.

@RR45, whats the progress on ur booking?

Hi Nitin,

The pleasure is mine and am glad that my thread has assisted you in your decision making.

Welcome to TAI. I am sure you will have a great time here. Congrats on the booking of your new machine. Brio looks stunning in red, so good choice of colour. [clap]

You can get Handrest at any local accessory shop. Since I stay in Gurgaon, I got it done form Sector 14 market, its a shop called 'Sixth Sense".

Factory fitted headlights are pretty good. I haven't felt the need to upgrade yet, and Gurgaon roads are worse.[frustration]
Fog lights are good to have, but the dealership quoted 11 k as far as I can remember for the same, so I had decided to postpone it and wait till winter. But now I don't think I will require it.

I suggest get things like corner protectors , side guards etc from dealer. Other stuff like mudflaps, rubber mats etc can be brought from out side, it will be cheaper.

One last thing, do make sure you do a thorough PDI of the vehicle. Take a printout of the PDI checklist from TAI and do a total checkup before you send the car for registration.

Lastly, please feel free to put in any queries/suggestions on the forum. We have a lot of BRIO owners on TAI who can help.
ty for the warm welcome :)

while booking, i was able to get insurance free (scheme valid till july end) plus a cash discount of Rs 10k+ gear lock, floor mats, one teflon coating and anti rust free. I do not know if they offer it to everyone but I am happy coz i have not read anywhere honda giving cash discounts :p

i paid for the accessories today and the bill came to Rs 23,647, did a bit of haggling and paid 21k.

the accessories i chose
FR corner protector 2118
RR corner protector 2023
RR panel linning 700
Fog lights 11651
rubber mats 1000 (thou price list shows 1550)
seat cover MG 6155

Fog lights were high on my priority list and I was ready to ignore a few thousands here n there.

I missed the side protector and will get it added when i go for delivery. I feel they are highly overpriced at Rs 5055. Also I wanted to keep the bill below 20k as i was told that if bill exceeds 20k i wud need to pay 2% extra while using CC. I did overshoot the bill by 1k but a request to the manager did the trick.

Further, they were quick to point out that if i install any electrical equipment from outside i will lose my warranty. also i checked with them regarding autocop etc and they told me they are of no use since the car is already fitted with central locking and immobilizer. My concern was that i stay on 3rd floor and in the morning i need to open my car for cleaning. they told me i would not face any issue and the car wud open easily from my 3rd floor balcony.Seems i will save 3k odd by not installing autocop now.

Hi Nitin,

how you managed to get the 10k cash discount coz they are only giving as loyalty/exchange bonus?
guess month ends targets and they have ready stocks of cars which they wanna sell. Also makes sense to ask them to come to your home for the final deal/booking and u can pressurize them more. [evil]

They are giving car in 24 hrs if you have cash ready. In my case booked on 27th evening(7.30pm), applied loan of 1.50L from SBI which should get processed by tomm i.e 31st and by evening 6/7pm they have confirmed me delivery.

Hey Nitin,

Finally, another Rallye Red Brio making its way in TAI [:)] Hearty Congrats!

You did manage to strike quite an awesome deal with the dealership. I think your Brio is fully loaded with all the features and the safety add-ons you'd require.

Do share your experience and the photos once you lay ur hands on ur Brio.

For more information on Autocop (or equivalent car security system), do click on the link below. You'll get a fair idea from the comments posted by 350Z and Sudeep.

I booked Honda Brio SMT on Muthoot Honda Quilon ., they offered me some discount due to the celebration of Honda on the achievement of 5 Lakh customer. And the offers are Free insurance and exchange bonus ( Exchanged my old Swift Lxi ) So the on road price is 2.71 L
Initially I thought of white... then changed to Alabaster Silver.., I think the white is not metallic [roll]
The informations and the experiences that you shared here was very helpful for me to select this vehicle
