Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 5th Service Update | 40,000 Kms: Ownership Review
Rear seats would be used mostly by my wife who is 5 foot 5'' so I think this shouldn't be a problem. Anyway I would probably wait for Aspire facelift first (any idea on launch date?) and if it is in par with Freestyle in terms of build quality & features, then I would certainly consider it since it has adjustable rear head rests & more usable boot space. I am looking to replace my Alto 800. So far i have test driven Baleno, i20, Scross & Ecosport out of which Ecosport blown me away with its sheer performance (drove TDCi for first time). I would rate TDCI > CRDI > DDIS. I was just wondering how this engine would behave in figo/freestyle with lesser body weight
. Looks like TD for freestyle diesel is still not available. I have requested dealer to give me call once he receives the car.
Aspire facelift launch is June 2018,
Date is not confirmed, but Ford Trivandrum says ,its only launch, practically it will be July when vehicles reach showrooms, also there will be a price revision on all variants probably to accomodate the Freestyle that has tucked inbetween Figos and Aspire pricing,
Actually built quality wise Figo,Aspire and Freestyle are the same, I felt the Freestyle has better rubber seals on doors and on boot shut lines etc which gave an impression of better built, but in reality I felt current Figo,Aspire has same built quality as Freestyle, so can expect same from facelifts as well.
I would suggest Aspire S TDCi as a better alternative to Figo S and Freestyle, just because of that back seat head rests, and added convenience of 350l boot.
