After market Alloy wheels will look super cool in Ecosport I have seen some modified Ecosport pics from Brazil with custom Alloys, @VIcky90 its a superb decision [clap]
what about parking sensors and rear view camera any plan of adding them as well,l I think its essential since Ecosports rear visibility is not good and I dont want to see @Vicky90s first car scratched[:)]

Thanks a lot bro . My bad, I forgot to mention sensors I think. Thats my first installation for sure. And ya this car surely needs smoked up alloys.
Also, I will give a Matte black or a Vinyl stickered black roof.

@Gurrala , DJD and Karthik Raja : Thanks a lot mate. I will share the interior pics during night soon. I have taken more pics which will be updated soon.

Vicky : congratulations. You have chosen the most popular colour option. Your car looks angelic in white, although you have named it the monster [:)]. I enjoyed reading your report on purchase decision and sales experience.

I think this is the Trend variant. One of the first things I do for a new car is to read the user manual and practice replacing the spare wheel once. The jack position is usually different for each brand.

Regarding overtaking in third gear - the manual recommends 3rd gear be engaged at speeds of 39 kmph and above. So I'm really surprised that you found the need to downshift when overtaking at 40kmph. Probably things should be better after the first service.

Can you tell me how does the spare wheel lock nut work. I mean if anyone else who has an ecosport toolkit, uses the spanner on your spare wheel, can they open it ?
Thanks Bopanna for the clarity. And I am posting pics which you asked in my next post.

Vicky congrats for the first ecosport review on tai and on the net too [clap]. Kindly update the thread very often . And we need more pics buddy .

Btw what add on's are you planning ?

Rating your thread 5 * for a nicely written to the point review .
Thanks Raja. I have put up my add ons in my previous post. More pics added in upcoming posts.

Congratulation Vicky90,wishing you many miles of joy & comfort with your new pride.

A friend of mine wanted to sell his Innova & buy Eco sport but rear passenger room was something he could not digest.Otherwise a winner i feel.

I am guessing your car is diesel as you mention diesel but no variant details.
This will change once engine has completed around 8000 km.Torque will improve with diesels once near 10,000 km. So take this lightly.
Thanks a lot pradsthats a very useful peice of info.

Congrats Vicky....really awesome and thanks a lot for the pics..I have also booked the trend but Mars Red. Are you thinking of adding any accessories? I am thinking of going for Fog Lamps, Rear Parking Sensor with Camera and a roof rail...That should make it look like a Titanium from the outside. The Roof rail, I am thinking for installing from a car store as at ford its 10000 which I believe its overpriced.

I have one request. can you please send us a pic of the dashboard at night, that is I want to see the dashboard with illuminated at night.

I am hopefully going to get mine next week. The dealer called me today and told me that Ford has billed my car...I will be shipped either by tomorrow or Monday

Another very important thing that I wanted to know, If I am playing music off the USB, And I want to search an Album, How can I do it? Is there any search option in the Music system of the trend?
I will put up night pics soon buddy. And regarding USB I will clarify soon as I dint check it yet

Hi all again I am posting more pics here as Bopanna, Raja and many have asked.

@Mods: Please merge with the main thread if possible
The lock nut for unlocking the rear mounted spare wheel is located below the rear boot mat. You can see it in the upper left corner. This comes in all variants.

The spare wheel has two nuts and a lock nut as shown.

This is how it is engaged.

Easy to reach buttons

Buttons located at the front are easy to reach and operate.

3 step reclining rear seats- Position 1. My mom finds this very convenient and this feature attracted her so much when we went for test drive.

Position 2

Position 3

Steering column visible but never intruded while driving.

The very heavy Engine Hood gets sound protection cladding. Very effective.

Engine bay gets underbody protection and it does not extend to the whole body as in Duster

Congrats Vicky, First review on TAI if not the first Ecosport.

Rear sensors sounds like some serious mod. I am not sure if it is going to be simple.
