Yes you are correct.Only the pricing has changed.Rest they are identical, including the product code no.
I got it for 175 rs,after discount. In a way pricing has not increased that much,in last 10 years, comparing inflation and all.

Where are you storing them at present.Just asking,if you have a dedicated tool box.If yes, well then ,pics would be welcome.
I have a store room for tools and etc. Some are kept on rack and some inside boxes. I'm thinking to buy a dedicated metal cabinet/almirah for all my tools so I don't have to search everywhere.

Wanted to buy some metallic thingy this dhanteras. Madam wanted it to be shiny too. So ordered this on the eve of diwali!!.
Lucky that it was delivered on the right date. But madam was not at all happy when the cover was opened. Maybe she expected some earring etc, because suddenly pall of gloom descended on the house soon after and the festivities sort of stopped in their tracks. I got alarmed and Had to hurriedly head out to the extra-super-crowded market for the real earrings ,for her. And then only the pall of gloom was lifted from the Diwali festivities.Phew, that was a close one. These stunt I like to play often , can have disastrous consequences sometimes.

Regarding the product.. Quality is top notch.I have no complaints with the product.Just that the outer packing is torn a bit.But I will discard that anyway.Metallic cover
box is also of good quality.Paint has improved a bit from previous generations.

Welcome to this thread with pics, after a long -long wait.
That's a nice drill you have, along with useful attachments.I bet it has done some neat jobs this past decade. That is the original colour black and decker used to come with, later on they changed it to orange and black.

The actual bubble level is a glass tube. Sealed with what I assume is 60 year old water!
The rear has metallic reflector applied.

How it Sits-

Sanding the Metal-

Rusty screws-

As it is there is always shortage of proper tool-boxes in my collection (despite having multiples).I am always on the lookout for one.For the last few months my small tools and sockets etc were getting mixed up,and it was painful to again and again sort them out individually. Now that the festival is over,I converted a dry fruit box, lying idle, into my tool box.Of course to make it empty I ate up all the kajus and badams in one go(hehehe just kidding).Actually guests ate them up.And I was more than happy for that.

Thanks . Yes throwing away something is easy part.Recycling and conserving takes little effort.Even when absolutely of no use ,I always ask my maid to take them and use it at home. That way, both party happy.

Serviced my Father's Bicycle pump-
Old is gold they say, And what better time to experience it better than now. With my 2 Digital Air inflators going kaput in quick succession (First windek, which lasted 2+ years, and MyTVS which lasted 20 days), it was time to go oldschool.
I remember this pump all since my childhood. Myself used this pump to inflate Bicycle tyres (those stupid tyres that need to pumped up every week, No Tubeless back then unfortunately) quite frequently. The Pump is all metal, and larger than usual Aliexpress footpumps you can buy today. The piston itself is much larger.

Opening it up-

Dirty piston-

The Innards-

Reminds one of IC engine innards, No?
Now cleaned-

Much better-

Lubricating with bearing grease-

Plumbers tape, for better seal-

Also, the Pump came with older style Woods (Dunlop) style valve pin. Which does not work with regular car schrader valves today. Woods was a much inferior valve standard in many aspects. Time to think.

I was able to salvage air hose from now defunct Windek Digital inflator.
Reviewed here-
http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...iew-windek-digital-tyre-inflator-autocut.html

The hose fits perfectly, and was tightened securely with a pipe clip.

Pump ready for some action-

Very educational DIY. Got to see the innards of the pump for the first time. Isn't it filled with oil. I mean such pumps now days have hydraulic function.
