@rahulsingh,

System D. I dont think its of any help. I've tried such stuff in my Indigo, additives and super diesels etc, but never managed to extra any extra juice. I think its got to do with his driving style. Driven sensibly even a BMW M5 can be as efficient as roughed up Prius.

Hi Rahul, congratulations on acquiring the TANK. I have also purchased the Storme about 6 months ago but still manage to get envious looks from other car owners. It is a beauty......
I have done 8000 kms and now I feel that the car is stable in terms of FE, pickup.
Your FE of 9 is justified in Lko traffic. I belong to Lko and travel often from delhi. It is a nightmare to manoeuvre it in that insane traffic.
I would recommend not to add any additives in the fuel and wait for a 5000 km 2nd service. Where do you stay in Lko?

To all the knowledge full friends, meet a person in office who is owning a Storme and he is managing to extract a FE of 16 that was a jaw dropping thing for me, he told me how he do that
1) System D which clean fuel injector and keep engine healthy.
2) He has broken the factory fitted speed lock

Request all knowledge full member plz comment is it really possible or just a bluff. he gently challenged me to prove him wrong.
it is a bluff. Do not fall for it.

People used to feel earlier that there used to be speed locks since cars used to take efforts to go past 100kmph.
Now that newer cars do not take that much effort to reach there, they feel that they have done something like breaking the lock to get that speed.

In the early break in period avoid overspeeding your vehicle.

the things is modern cars are controlled by ECU. and not by any speed lock.

so unless you are driving a porsche 911 or their like your cars are not speed limited (maybe wrong here as i have read somewhere that the diesel amaze is speed limited).

so you can ignore those boasters.

@superbad I do understand ECU related thing but heard speed lock from couple of automobile guys, still I am doubt full about it. What I heard is engine is capable to push the vehicle but due to safety and other limitation speed is locked.

Buddy , beware of the black seat covers especially when there is ban on sunfilms.You are more likely to complain about ineffective AC during summer.

@Tornado really appreciate your concern about the black color, but bought it due to it suits with the dash color and easy to maintain. I liked beige more but it was too difficult to maintain looking at the small baby at home and her writing ability using various colors ;).

Regarding AC touch wood the cooling is awesome no matter where ever the vehicle is AC cools the entire vehicle quickly.

A small update completed 2300km + no serious issue as of now some minor niggle found till now
1) Lighter fuse blown up.
2) Music system remote has thought of its own sometime work some time not [frustration]
3) Bluetooth mike work in one way {I am not audible to the other end but I can hear the other person}

Regarding issue 2 & 3 Goldrush motors dont have remote and mike in their stock they ordered the same.

The vehicle is delight to drive and trust me even in some of the heaviest and most mismanaged traffic in Lucknow it is easy to manoeuvre

Hey Rahul,

I also faced the issues 2 & 3 in my Storme:

2) Music system remote has thought of its own sometime work some time not [frustration]
I faced this issue from day one, changed the batteries but it did not worked so i complained to ABS motors, the funny part is when they changed the batteries it started working[:D]

3) Bluetooth mike work in one way {I am not audible to the other end but I can hear the other person}
Exactly same issue i faced, even my wife was frustated when i was calling her and she was not able to hear me, ABS motors changed the bluetooth mike and did not faced the issue again

BTW i have also added seat covers and 3d mats in my Storme, please check my thread for the pictures and also post pics of your seat covers.

@Mukesh really liked your seat covers and 3D mats, the color choice is cool hope you can keep it clean and shiny. Man how about arm rest did you get it or not.

Regarding mike and remote it was working initially but after the first service it started behaving in an erratic way.

I really don't understand in 10lakh + SUV how come Tata has put-on such a **** type HU. A couple of Storme owner faces the same thing in remote I think there is some design flaw in Alpine CDE HU in Storme

NB: Mukesh i try to check your ownership thread on daily basis but not able to reply some times due to work or other personal commitment

Thanks Rahul,
we have a car wash business in our family (My younger brother runs it) so my car is always clean[clap]
I tried to find out a universal arm rest but did not find one and as of now i am not looking for it. Last week itself i spent around 50K on my Storme and for some time now i am not going to spend more money.
