So what was the total expense you had to bear? Labour? I guess your beast is more than 3 years old. So Iguess by now the AMC must have been over. Can you share the details?

Bumped into this thread. Congrats .

From most of the storme owners i see that the stock bridgestone last easily 60000 kms.
Regarding the FE discussion , i easily get 15.5 , full to full avg with 2 ~3 ppl in our trips. speed max less than 100Kmph. Rpm around 1500 to 1700

But inside city in traffic , due to slow speed and frequent braking i guess it approx 10kmpl. ( not fill to fill)

I have added just rear sensor and sunfilm as accessories. Its complete stock and ODO stands at 12080kms.

BTW how much were you billed for fuel filter?

I was checking on the Hexa and Storme with a nearby Tata dealer. I came to know that there is a new Storme being made and the entire dash is going to be replaced. Has anyone heard of this upcoming changes ?

@Bhvm Hi, After tire change braking is bit degraded but overall handling, and cornering ability improved. FE drop to approx 0.5~1kmpl. The Conti AT is bit noisy compared to bridgestone dueller but VFM and overall good performer.
@ilango[speed thirst] fuel filter approximately Rs 1800 don't remember the exact amount
@Charabanc No clue about dash change by tata, but based on horizonnext concept, there is strong chances dash of Q501 will be miles ahead of what is beinf offered in Storme. Apart from poor sales in Tata and horrible After Sales Service. Things are not that rosy. The new brand i.e Jeep compass is already shaken the foundation of (XUV500, Safari, Creta, Tuscon)

Thanks @rahulsingh_er Q501 would be a higher end car which would be on an altogether different platform, so may not do justice to compare it with the Storme. However , hope they do something about the storme regarding the dash and driving wheel and what not.

Hi, I have strong feeling slowly but surely they will phase out all the present vehicles (Indica, indigo, dicor, Safari storme), to shed away with the image of poor ASS.

let see what store in the future
