Xcentlover, I wasnt too happy with his explanation. But i guess I will have to live with it.

Hi Motorlover,

Thanks for the info. I'll also ask regarding auto speed locking door during my first servicing & update it on forum.
Six years ago, I have installed aftermarket central locking worth Rs. 3500/- in my Alto. It is having auto door locking feature & is still working fine. I got so used to it now that I often forget to lock the doors almost every time, which is very risky especially when my naughty kids are on board. It feels disappointing when such nicely featured car is missing such basic safety feature [frustration].If it can be activated, Hyundai should keep it optional for customers to opt at will.
Please give your valuable opinion.
Cheers,

Hi motorlover, have you installed seat covers in your car?

I just completed my free servicing at 1535 kms. It was completely free. I had ordered bumper guards from jazzmyride.com.Below are the pics. View attachment 136024

View attachment 136025
I have uploaded some more pics with bumper guards.I feel the silver color goes very well with the cladding's.The mud flaps finally arrived and got them installed too.

Xcentlover, I wasnt too happy with his explanation. But i guess I will have to live with it.

Also got new floor mats , as the one's provided them wont really serve me with the rains about to begin.

Thanks Hawk. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Thanks gagan.

I had a minor problem with the car fuel tank cover. It used to not open widely. They sprayed it a bit and it seems to work ok now. In terms of driving, the engine seems to have become more smoother day by day.
Motorlover, Bumper guards are really looking good on your xcent, but why you don't go with transparent type bumper guards, it would have been better than these ones?

3D floor mats looks far better then the floor mats given by dealer, After some time I will also get the same for my car [clap]. What is the cost of the same?

Hi Gagan,
Thanks a lot. heartiest congrats to you as well. Those scuff plates looks awesome & matches interior blue theme well so never looks like aftermarket stuff.

Cheers.
Thanks Xcentlover for your wishes. Scuff plates I have seen in one of the modified Xcent by Koncept Hyundai, then only I have decided to go for it and yes it matches the interior theme.

I haven't installed the seat covers as yet. I am on the lookout for the same. Have you installed?

I felt the black claddings go well with the silver color. Lets see how much the guard survive.May be change them to transparent later.

3D Floor Mats costed me Rs 2800. I got the same from jazzmyride.com

What are the must-have accessory for new Xcent? Once I took delivery of my car, I am planning to get Seat Cover, bumper guards, scuff plates. Is there anything else? Also, is paint protection really a must-have or good-to-have?

Motorlover, I got black & beige seat covers at Rs. 3500. They matches the interior of the car.
Surely those black guards looks nice with silver, but may not look so nice on my red. I have tried to search transparent one on jazzmyride, but couldn't find.

Gagan, do you have any idea where I can get good ones?

Congrats furious_driver for your new drive. Wishing you many happy miles ahead [drive].
Its good to have paint protection with underbody antirust protection. I have taken for my xcent from the dealer only.
You can also plan to go for gear lock for security purposes.

Hi Xcentlover, 3.5k is very good price [clap], I have got a quote of 6k for bucket fit seat covers from car accessory shop. From where you install the seat cover, can you upload some pics of seat cover? I have got a quote of 6k for bucket fit seat covers.
I have seen transparent bumper guards at Koncept Hyundai on red Xcent, it looks quiet awesome on red. You can get these guards at any car accessory shop. I am also planning to install seat cover, gear lock and bumper guards.

Hi Gagan,
I purchased it from Ketan Hyundai, Nagpur. They received very few sets, I was lucky to grab one. Quality & fitting is OK for the price paid. I'll surely upload the photos next week after flying back home.

Congrats furious_driver on your purchase.[clap]
I did lot of search on the net & feels that Antirust treatment is must, I did not go for paint protection as original Tefflon product from 3M is not produced anymore. It is recommended for cold climate & dust free environment as it will fade away in our hot & dusty environment. So you need to reapply it after few months again. Dealers are lot of money by taking advantage of our emotional attachment with our car as we all have paid our hard earned fortunes buying it. I even saw some pictures posted on the net showing cracked & peeled coating. I'll recommend you to do some detailed study before coming to a decision.

Cheers,
Xcentlover

Thanks Gurrala74.I am not too fond of white color for a personal car unless its a high end car although I own a wagon r in white. I prefer metallic colors. Black is my favorite. But maintaining it is on higher side.Scratches are easily noticeable etc. So I chose silver.Amongst the xcent colors that I have seen I loved the blue the most. Haven't seen a black on road as yet.

Thanks Xcentlover. Have read a lot about stones or pebbles hitting the underbody and causing oil leakage. There is no underbody protection for Xcent. Can anybody recommend any solution to prevent the same?[confused]

Ok. So Anti-Rust is must and anything else? Also my dealer is so ignorant and telling me no accessories, as it is pretty new. I mean if i can find it somewhere else, why not with dealer?
