@ Kuwaronline,
One suggestion, if possible change all the three AC control knobs as I did. It will enhance the overall appearance of such a beautiful set.
I remember this post [:D], yes now it look really nice [clap]

Here are some snaps. (also those floor mats changed to better one (bucket type) got good deal from flipkart @ 1350/-)

Question - Can we change orange backlight? which doesnt suits to blue HU and Speedo meter lights.

My 2011 Honda City's service was due so I took my car to HASS last Friday. I had asked them to replace the driver side airbag inflator too as my car is part of that recall. My SA told me that even if you don't ask we have to do it if any car comes to us and it is part of the recall. [:D] So HASS has instruction from the Honda that any car comes to the service center for anything, they have to check whether the car is part of recall or not and if it is part of recall then they have to do the replacement. Since I am visiting my home town this Diwali, I was much worried about this replacement. Now I am happy.[clap]

I too thought of it and this is only a problem with our Facelift Edition ANHC which short lived.

Practically not possible as these LEDs are not plug and play type and machine soldered preciously with the board itself. This must be the same case with HVAC control areas.

HONDA just pushed out the old stock of HU with the new Blue Speedo Dial, probably would have thought of that Indians will never mind it.[frustration]

Can you please let me know the name and link of the mat you bought?

Paytm is giving 30% cashback on car interior items so I'm thinking to buy a good 3d mat. Stinzo 3d Car Mat has good reviews and they have one for Honda City. Here is the link.

They don't have black color and different brand black color 3d mats don't have good feedbacks.

So your car is out of danger now. I'm glad to know. [clap]

Thank you for quick reply, I am considering one more upgrade "7PCS Stainless Steel Car Windows lift switch sticker door button interior cover decoration For Honda CRV CR-V Fit CITY Accord"

Any thoughts over it?
Overall the buyer's feedback are discouraging, and especially from INDIA.
Better to avoid it now.

I got it from flipkart for 1187/-
AutoKit Car Mat Honda City Price in India - Buy AutoKit Car Mat Honda City online at Flipkart.com

Quality is really good for what I have paid. Those are dust proof, water proof kind. Even if you pour 1 liter water I think it will hold in steady position without leaking.

About PayTM I m not sure, I read their bad review a lot. Even I was getting really lucrative deal for Nikon D5200 DSLR compare to Flipkart but I still ordered from flipkart just for piece of mind.

Thanks you, I will try for other seller and will surely check feedback from India.

Also about Battery, I am getting it at really low price of Rs.3200/- (Amron Pro) from local dealer and he even showed me battery and month of manufacturing(9/15). He said just give a call whenever I want, his guy will come at my door steps to install without any charges. Looks like I will buy from him in next 15 days.

Ok so its from Autokit. Another brand having good feedbacks but unfortunately its not available in Paytm to avail cashback.

Stinzo also has good feedbacks and is also available in flipkart but paytm gives 30% cashback which is why I want to buy there. Supplier is same on both sites so I may not have issues.

I see mixed reviews but its all related to supplier faults. So far I have bought only one item from Paytm, that is Goqii Fitness Band and it was delivered without any issues but the supplier was a Goqii dealer.

Good thing I find in Paytm is their customer support. They have links with suppliers and they will fulfill product related queries, that you insist from supplier. Response is also quick.

On sites like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Shopclues and etc, customer support team will say "All the required info is mentioned in product description and thats the best we can give" or "we will forward your message to concerned team". [frustration]

For example, few months back I ordered 10ft twin battery jumper cables from Flipkart but I received 5 ft twin cables. I told this to flipkart to check with supplier and provide me replacement if he has 10ft cable as mentioned. They arranged a replacement but again sent same size cable. 5 ft cable isn't enough so I requested for refund instead which they fulfilled later. Same issues I have faced with Snapdeal and Shopclues which I had to return multiple times.

Hi Dr. Mudhan, Cracing and friends!!

Today I was planing to change my cabin air filter. I thought I would change from Honda ASS, but given thought over it, was thinking about HEPA + Carbon activate filters in car which can fliter gases, odors, 0.03 micron level bacterias, pollons etc I was trying to search over net and couldnt find it. Should add one more layer of activated carbon filter over current one? Will it cause any issue? Lots of things going in mind, just wanted to hear your thoughts.

Here is one I am thinking to buy and cut it accordingly to fit with existing filter(on top of it). HEPA filters are quite bulky so not thinking about it right now. But When I saw HEPA filter(Philips air purifier guy showed me whats inside of air purifier they sell) I m thinking to buy it and cut in same size of existing fitting assembly so my inside cabin I will get good air specially when I drive long hours on highways.

Better avoid adding layers as filters are scientifically designed for efficiency. You can go for carbon activated cabin filters; definably they are superior to conventional plain paper pleat filters. It is available both in Aliexpress and in India.
Of course they are expensive but still will never pinch your pocket compared to ASS expenses.

Good option. Next time, think for a branded carbon activated cabin filter.

Yeah I had to buy it from ebay because service center did not change the dirty air filter when requested several times.

I'm using it since a year and a half now and had no issues whatsoever. However, I cannot differentiate the performance.

OEM Air Filter has 24 paper pleats foldings but the Sakura air filter has only 16. I asked this to Sakura but didn't receive reply. I wanna know how it effects air filtration.
