re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Shankar, fog lamps have to be of good quality. Cheap ones simply waste a lot of power and do not give the required brightness. You can get Hella, Lightforce, Neolite etc. You can fix any light on your car, provided you run the car for a fair enough duration during daytime/without turning on the fogs - so the battery gets replenished. The higher the wattage, the battery will get drained faster. Good fogs come with a wiring kit as well, that includes wires of the required thickness a relay and probably a switch.

A lot depends on how you align the fogs as well. Make sure the mounting brackets of your fogs are not loose. Hella provides mounting brackets with most of their lamps. Use them to mount the lights properly. I can comfortably drive around with just the Hella MicroDE aux lamps - they're just 35W. When cruising I use the low beams and use High beams only to flash and hit back at high-beam morons.

If you are ready to spend close to 12k, you can go HID. For that, buy an Amritas P8 HID kit (available in Bangalore), which is a direct replacement for the bulbs in your fogs. Be warned that the reflector of your fogs might not be designed for taking in HIDs and hence they MIGHT cause a lot of unwanted glare. But they are extremely bright. You should focus them properly.
Hi

Thanks for the suggestion friend... Will try to fix it as you said... I think mine is not a branded one and thats why am facing the problem. My dad's driver took my car to fix those lamps and he said he fixed it for Rs.450/-. As you said brands works better.[thumbsup]

A brake booster reduces the effort required to push the brake pedal. It works by utilizing a vacuum to multiply the force applied on the pedal. KBX brake booster kit, which is a bolt-on fit for the M800, retails for around 3.5k or thereabouts. I don't know any shops in Delhi (that's what your location says), had you been in Bangalore or Chennai I could've directed you to the place where you get them. I've seen a similar one from Elgi (the company that makes Air Compressors), but haven't heard of anyone using them. You can also go for Zen or Esteem booster, but they need some slight modifications.

A brake booster is a must-have feature, IMO. Do not hesitate to spend on this.

Head to GP Road. Forgot the shop's name, but it's less than 100m away from where GP Road joins Mount Road. They sell spares for almost all vehicles. There's also an auto electrical shop right next doors and a radiator repair shed on the other side. There are many shops there, this particular shop offered the best price when I'd enquired.

You can order one from eBay. There are good, branded ones available with warranty (IIRC). Have seen Autometer etc at 5k or thereabouts. They are reliable, but expensive.

re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Alignment of the wheels is absolutely fine bcos i checked it twice with diff. service stations.
Good to hear that.

But the fear is the shakeness only at high speeds. I f i drive around 50-60kmph and apply the breaks i dont find any issue. But anyhow as you said i'll check the rubbing issue once.
The shakiness can be caused by the tyres, the air pressure differences, etc also. So, make sure all other variables are taken care of.

Can u guys suggest some best brands and design for M800 as i am more concerned about the look too....!!
Go for Neowheels (I have them) or Plati (Varun has them, I think). Bridgestone has their Tiara range of Alloys - the shop I went to had only one silver/white design which was not to my taste. Quality was really good though. Stay away from the cheap ones, as they can fail prematurely.
