Hmmm, that is some serious cleaning you have done. Must have taken hours to do so, did only diesel do this much cleaning?

Waiting for final engine bay pics and also what did you do about the "turbo whistle" kind of noise from the exhaust?

Finally drove back the car with all wires around. Fully dust all over.

Any way I am happy that my car is back at home after a long time !

I hope every thing would be fine now. I just kept the engine run for 30 min today and found no issues. The fan was running fine the temperature was fine. Will post the pic's by week end.

Yes bought it back home [:D], could not check the performance but will finish up all the wiring stuff then take it out for a drive.

How much did, power steering cost you, from where you sourced it.

Congrats that you got back your car back this soon! Please do post pics of "Work in Progress" - sorting the spider web like wires [lol]. As far as I can remember, all your accessories and DIY's were working fine, so I guess, its more of re-routing those wires, are you planning to add anything else? or remove something from existing set up?

Hope engine transplantation was success and i wish many more miles with your new engine varun. Will your AC problem, FE problem (I remember you were telling in our Vellore meet that it was only 5 or 6) all get solved with this new engine?

Almost 90 % of DIY wiring was removed. The only extra accessories which remain are the rear wiper, front fog lamps & power windows. I have to re-do all the wiring for the music system, amp, sub.
Planning to keep it as simple as possible this time, as I don't have the patience as before [lol] to do all the stuff.

Can't tell any thing now just driven it for 1 km from garage to home. Will post all the pic's by weekend.

I hope all the issues get sorted out this time. This time I will not do any thing for the AC because its a waste spending on it.[sleep]

So as soon as the wiring is done it will be taken out for a long test drive..waiting for it.

Finally fixed almost all stuff on to the car. Wiring done. Still there are some issues with central locking need to sort out.

Took it for a spin after almost 3 months ! Car is running fine with lots of rattling inside. Pickup is low I guess it would improve. No heating issues even after a round spin of 15 kms inside the city. Headlamp wiring kit and bulbs changed, now the lamps are brighter than before.

All suspension work done, now the car seems stable than before. No extra wiring. AC is not working again since there is no gas in it, not going to get it done in near future.
