Just noticed the tread pattern of your tires. It looks superb.

But one trouble you could face after around 20k kms is road noise (I faced the same Yokohama S-drive). Went for it primarily for its stunning looks - but ended up living with humming noise after 50% tire life.

Eagerly waiting for the travelogue! How is the NVH in the car? Any major change you have seen in engine/ gear shift in the last fewmonths? By the way its been a looong time since we met, Probably next year we'll meet up [;)].

Re: My New Chevrolet Enjoy

Thanks Rakesh..

Hi Taidhana, I can here the road noise as of now. I am ok with it unless the car handles and stops fine.

Hi SS80, the engine noise increases post 130 kmph, till then the cabin is silent. There is no much improvement in the gear shifts. Engine is bit responsive now.

The car is at service center for past 4 days (given for 2nd free service) I have informed them to put in new oil and oil filter. I could hear a thud sound when even I go over a pot hole or a hump. They are unable to solve a issue. Still waiting for their reply.

Re: My New Chevrolet Enjoy

Why do they need 4 days? Is it so difficult to diagnose a probable suspension noise issue?
Which grade oil are they going to use? Did you buy oil and give them or are they going to use what they usually use?

I am sure after oil change, it will be smoother than before (as it is it was unbelievably smooth to be a diesel). Waiting for more updates and pics, once you get the car from service.

I too have the same thud noise when I am taking the right turn.

Re: My New Chevrolet Enjoy

The car was there was 7 days, finally they could not resolve the noise instead I have got few more ratting due to re-fixing of all the panels. [frustration]

There is a common issue on all enjoy's the front brake disks getting worn out in an uneven pattern, mine too has the same issue so the service center has ordered a pair of disks and pads which will be replaced soon.

Car has completed 7k kms in 5 months. Happy with it. [:)]

I dont understand why do these service centers do trial and error (like us), they should not have fiddled with panels, car without rattles is something we all want.

Happy to know that you got back your car, new year, new car - Happy new year DIY guru.

Wish you the same ss80.

They have opened all the plastic panels including the roof A/C and the dashboard too [frustration].

I won't call it 'trouble'.
Most performance tyres are noisy. Like wise, comfort tyres are quiter. The yoko ES100 and S drives are performance oriented tyres. They are noisy right from the start. Just that it gets aggravated once the tyres run a few thousand kilometers.

In this case, the stock tyres were changed for the sole reason of increasing the road grip. Noise is never a concern when you have a diesel [:)]
