update - strangely got a lot of thinks done yesterday

1. Dashboard painted to proper beige, this time the handbrake lever also
2. Door warning lights painted red/plain in 7:3 ratio
3. Full change of fluids in the last minute as car was needed in chennai today morning (could not do the engine flush and carb flush as it was 10:30 in the night already )

meanwhile ordered for these lights for completing the ambient lighting setup for the dashboard, on their way from hong kong

Dashboard color - Got it wrong two times over, finally got the correct shade !

Its the same door pocket on 800.. I had given you the same measurements.

So you require a bottle holder ? But will the existing door pad hold the weight ?

ok. if i want to fix this on nano's door pads. i can fix some where up, like in the santro. but santr's door pockets are smaller than 800's will we get that outside?
water bottle , i will carry 500ml bottle only. so i guess it will hold

This comes as a blessing ! i was thinking i wasted money on the angel eyes coz i didn't have clear lens headlamps.

Time to hunt for Palio headlights

you can go for the esteem type 3 headlights. that will be perfect fit.Which has clear lens head lamps and also the motorized beam adjustment. My car hasthe same head lights.

For the power antenna, you check with the MGP parts. Last model Esteem Vxi had the same. But for this you need to make hole in the boot. Also not sure how the connections for this, heard it will work when using FM/Am in HU. Is it?The Esteem Vxi comes with the Kenwood HU and mine is also Kenwood HU as an aftermarket fitment.In our earlier cielo, it would work while we turn on the key

I was also planing for the power antenna and the spoiler. Actually planning to convert Lxi to Vxi, but my friend told, there is chance for the leak and rusting if we put holes. Not sure about it.

for the motorized antenna the power must be given from the HU amp power. inorder to turn on while you switch on the HU. this is the same in our accent also

My door pad half is cardboard and the other half is rexin and sponge, the later models came with full plastic door pads (very costly !) and bottle holders i have seen only in plastic and comes as one unit, so i guess bottle holder is something i doubt you can integrate

Varun actually directed me to SS80's thread, and yes i liked that color combo very much but had already planned for the BMW type dash board color

Esteem Type 3 lights are not a direct fit in Type 1 ; i will have to change the bumper and bonnet for just the lights, too much of Vitamin M for too less. Type 3 Front grille looks awesome though

Your friend is right ! leakage can be quite an issue

My spoiler is giving same problems, im yet to arrest that leakage, have planned to give rubber mats between the spoiler and body and give it a silicone waterproofing
