No. Everything is pending. With 36000 on odo, I am planning to replace the tyre. My mechanic says I can use 5000km more. But I am not convinced. I have traveled to Chennai without any issues. My car accidentally fell in to one and after that, on high speed, i.e., over 100km there is a slight shake felt in the steering wheel. I think front rim got bent. Varun, I once again take this opportunity to thank you for influencing me to fit "Brake boosters" on my car. Thank you.

You can look at the rim and see if its bent or not.Maybe its the suspension components that are gone(struts,lower arms,tie rods).Check the components and see if they are alright.If a service is due get them changed
Also get the wheel alignment and balancing done.This will be remove the shaking/vibration that you feel in the steering at higher speeds.
Check your brake pads and brake shoes too.

There would be no issues with the suspension, that loud thud sound is common in 800's. Instead of getting the balancing done, get alloys.
I too searched for it, could not source them. It used to be manufactured by Aura the company is no more manufacturing alloys.

Hi all,
Dec. 31st was very bad day for me.
I was returning from Udupi after meeting Shiroor Swamiji. Just 3 km before by home suddenly a idiot biker, without any warning or indication came in my path through a cross road and I had no chance to avoid a collision. See, what happened to my lovely car! I took him in my car to the near by A.J hospital (about 2 km away)even though coolant was completely dried out and when I reached hospital engine started boiling! But happy that the idiot biker was saved with minor injuries and timely medical help. But, it was really a bad day for me. It hurts a lot.

Oh that's very bad. Is that oil leaking over other than the coolant.
You have to replace the front frame and the bonnet.
Also the A/C condenser and radiator.

Oh my god, that's a lot of damage. I really appreciate your effort in taking the injured biker to the hospital despite the damage he caused. How is the ENgine bay?
Please check these parts too apart from bonnet, fender, bumper etc
1. Chassy cross member
2. Radiator + fan
3. AC condenser
4. Aprons too
Sorry to ask this but, is there any irrepairable damage? Did you get any quote from any mechanic or garage?

SS80, thank you very much. Now the front left drive shaft came out and oil too. Car is at M/s.Bharath Modots, Maruti dealer. Engineer friend Mr.Dinesh Bangera assured me that he will do his best to bring it back to its previous glory. Mean time the idiot rider was discharged from the hospital with minor scratches leaving big one on my dear one! And I will be a sitting duck for next couple of weeks without my car!
