You are welcome & Congrats. I am sure your night driving will be safer & your legs can relax a bit more than before. As not much force is required to stop the car with Booster.

That timing issue happens only when there is a leak in the connection.

You might have to increase the idle manually other than that there is no problem if the installation was done right.

@ ss80 check if your vacuum pipes are fitted properly and don't have any leaks.I have faced that idle issue only when the pipe had come loose at one end.Fixed the issue with some pipe fastners.

I would like to fit 2" hitch receiver to my M-800. I would like to carry bicycles. In India ready to fit hitch receiver is not available. Forget Maruthi 800, even Scorpio does not have even as an option. It is available as extra fitting in many countries. Any comments?

Its good if you are travelling in that 100km radius then.

Do post some updates about the AM/FM signal booster.

Booster is a complete failure... I was unable to stop the radio interference of autos, two wheelers etc.

I guess you can fabricate the above carrier. You can mount it to the towing hook below the rear bumper.

But can it bare the weight ?

Why not try some thing like this ?

Please attach some pics where you want to fix it to the your car the pics shoe the racks being attached where the trailer coupler was attached.The one varun posted is more suitable for smaller cars.Wherever u attach it be sure it handles the weight and doesn't cause the hatch to have problems at the hatch hinges

I do not really understand that the modification, face lift, addition of features is good to certain limit, but why you want to load the small baby with all the bicycles and motorcycles on it !!

Thx. I agree with you. The total modification will increase the weight by 20 kgs, including my folding cycle. (not motorcycle) By folding the rear seat I can easily carry my cycle but I have to leave my children back. It is impossible to practice cycling in Mangalore city due to heavy traffic.We have a beautiful road near Port area which is about 5 kms from my house. So, this is certainly needed modification for me, and today I have purchased square pipes etc. This is going to be a great DIY for me. Will post the details subsequently.

Hmmm Mr.Rao,M800 is a monocoque & is not really built with the sturdiness of a big car (lets say a Body on chassis type - Scorpio/Sumo). Even if you fabricate one such holder for the bicycle, will the sheet metal take this kind of weight? If yes then for how long? Everytime we go over a pothole, the stress on the points (whether welded/ bolted) will be pretty high.

Your car is like a red gem & I love the way you have maintained it. Please think about it once again before doing anything to the rear hatch door. I am not discouraging you, just concerned about a well maintained 800
