Dear Rao66,
Congrats on owning an iconic car, really love the M800, very reliable car, we group of friends had gone for an outing in rains to see the beautiful waterfalls in my friends M800, while returning back I drove it and was amazed by its ride as prior to this hadn't driven it on a long trip, it was a 4-speed one, it was an exceptional experience the way it tackled the ghats on mountains etc., pls. maintain and keep the way it is as I heard that Maruti has stopped its production / or will be stopping soon i guess. Enjoy.

Hi,
I have fixed the Electronic antenna. Its a waste of time and money. No benefit at all.[frustration]
So, I am planning to make FM booster for my car stereo. I hope it will work well. Controlling disturbances caused by two wheeler, auto rikshaw, and in car electrical interference is a problem.
I heard that old Blaupunkt twinceiver (Blaupunkt Bremen MP76 ) is the best car stereo for FM/AM dxing. It is very hard to find one.

I had the same experience which you had. I had told you the same other day when I had called you.

So again DIY ? BTW do you use FM a lot ? When there is a USB option I feel fm is not required.[:)]

The problem with usb is it is bound to replay if not enough songs are added.

FM is non stop programming and you have varied choices.

What range do you expect with the Booster?

Hi, About 100kms.

Hi,
Varun, Thank you very much.... and for SS80. Today I have fitted Brake Booster for my Maruti 800. From day one Mr.Varun insisted me to change stock brake system to booster set up. Recently he sent me complete kit. Today with the help of ss80's thread I fixed it. Result was amazing. Detailed photo will follow.
Once again thank you very much...[clap]

Congrats on the Window Wizors, I am thinking of this for a long time. How much did it cost?
Does it make any humming noise/wind noise etc at slightly higher speeds?

You're welcome, Please do share your experience after fitting the booster. As I had mentioned in my post Carb cars tend to have mild idling issues sometimes after the booster is fit. I believe MPFi wont have these issues as your ECU will take car of it.

That timing issue happens only when there is a leak in the connection.

You might have to increase the idle manually other than that there is no problem if the installation was done right.

@ ss80 check if your vacuum pipes are fitted properly and don't have any leaks.I have faced that idle issue only when the pipe had come loose at one end.Fixed the issue with some pipe fastners.

Hi,
Finally I was able to connect "Brake Booster Kit" for my Maruti 800. It was a long wait. Mr.Varun sent me KBX Booster Kit and somehow after a weeks delay I got it. Varun called me many number of times. I really appreciate his kindness and valuable suggestion made my Maruti 800 more safe on road. The final outcome was fantastic. I had Maruti Wagon R earlier which had booster brakes. Presently my tiny Maruti 800's brake manner has been changed totally.
I searched for "T" joint in many hardware shops locally. No one had it, and after " googling" for hours , finally decided to visit my neighborhood "Gas stove repair shop". I was shocked to see, two types of joints , one "T" and another " Y " joint, both are in brass..! [clap] And I purchase the second one for Rs.25/- and it was perfect for my purpose.! Later I took my car to my friend's garage - "Bhat's Garage" in Yeyyadi, Mangalore. Mr.Harish, lead mechanic cum owner fitted the booster within one hour. He drained DOT brake fluid and changed it to DOT 4 specification as per Mr.Varun's suggestion. Out come...FANTASTIC.! Thanks a lot for Mr.Varun,SS80, and Jarpickle..

Thanks, it looks perfect ! Did it require to remove the strut bar ?

BTW : which is that relay located on the booster. I wish to see the entire engine bay, post a pic.

So do you recommend booster to other 800 owners ?

Brake Booster is an asset for Maruti 800 owners.
I have not removed the strut bar to fix the booster. That relay is for horn - Stebel, which is next to that relay. Excellent quality horn.
