Hi I was also caught for Speeding in OMR, Chennai last week end. Later noticed Police catching for speeding in ECR also.

Good in one way, but i am afraid self will sleep if i drive at 60kmph in ECR/ OMR[cry]
I also was caught for speeding before navalur toll booth. Was going 65. These guys told only 40 kmph is the limit and fined me 300. They gave me option of giving challan or they may keep it as bribe. i did not want to give bribe and got challan. Sometimes i think this might be mistake because next time sure they will extort more. In one way its good that i will keep this in mind and go slow in OMR

Last month I had to go to MGM Beach Resorts in Muttukadu, and I found the traffic real bad in that stretch (ECR). Practically crawling.

Just returned from a 1500 kms trip to Cochin and Alleppy. Thank God, I completed the trip without scratch. considering the driving style in Kerala.

You certainly are very lucky indeed, Kerala bus drivers are very rash when plying on the highway.

how did the car behaved in the trip?

True. The bus drivers were really rash. Saw some very good car drivers as well.

The car did ok. Heard some rattle on some bad roads.... which disappeared on the highway.

Got a FE of 18.18 (onward journey through 3 forests) and 17.87 (the return trip near Salem) on the 2 refills. Pretty good considering the road and the traffic condition in Kerala.

odo is almost touching 35000 kms and will be completing 2 years next week.

Hardly used the car after the Kochi trip. Privileged to avail 'working from home' option, I need to go only once a week to office. So my car will be used more on highways than on city roads.

Will go for another forest drive next week.

Hi,

My car , Aura+ Gothic Olive colour, has few deep scratches , paint peeling.

Is there any solution other than getting it painted from service painter ? I could not find any touch - up solution online.

Regards

Prashu

You need the find who is the OE paint provider for Gothic Olive for Tata. Then order a can of same paint and ask your local painter to do needful.

Did you check Com - paints? They usually have colors for all OE Tata, Maruti and Hyundai cars.

Aeroaids Corporation - Com-Paint Touchup Spray Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint Manufacturers

Cheers,
Anshuman

Finally got a chance to travel in the back seat of my car. While returning from Valparai, we broke journey at Coimbatore. We did some shopping and engaged our relative's driver to cart us around. The experience was very good. I should do it more often. [:D]

Manza back seat is really comfortable like a sofa. I did travel some distance in the back seat with my friend driving, felt like a king [evil]. Tata should have provided a rear AC vent for back seat - like Indigo XL.
