Was it only a paint touch up job or the sensor also got damaged?

No, I did not ask him to pay up. I just yelled at him and left.
There was no busy traffic. It was a moderately empty bylane.
Sensor was working fine. No paint job. The inner panel had taken a beating because of which the bumper was dislodged. They had to repair the panel & the bumper clicked into place.
It was repaired at the A.S.S.
Aaah, I was thinking of getting them removed.

do you like putting up those speaker stickers on your car.
i for one was given way too many stickers (2x powerbass, 2x illusion stickers) when i did my ICE.

Pintu has clocked 13000 kms -
Issues faced till now :
1) Rear LHS C pillar plastic trim came loose, was replaced by the A.S.S. under warranty.
2) Rear left bearing went kaput. Was replaced by the A.S.S. under warranty.
First service cost : Rs. 80/-
Second service cost : Rs. 5941/-
Total : Rs. 6021/-
Insurance amount for second year : Rs. 13406/- (No claim bonus)
Other misc expenses like roof vinyl, 3M polishin, etc. : Rs. 5910/-
Total : Rs. 19316/-
Accidental repair expenses : Rs. 9225/-
Approx fuel efficiency : 14 kmpl (peak time city traffic only with 100% AC, average speed - 15 kmph)
Hence, fuel bills : Rs. 41,786/- (approx)
Therefore,
Running cost which includes fuel & service = Rs. 3.6 Rs/km
Running cost which includes fuel, service, insurance & other expenses = Rs. 5.16 Rs/km
Running cost which includes fuel, service, insurance, other expenses & accidental repair costs (Actual approx running cost) = Rs. 5.87 Rs/km

Thanks a lot friends. Its been quite a while I have taken Pintu on a long winding highway trip, itching for it!
Raj we recently took a test drive of the 2012 punto everything was great I just found slotting the 1 and 2 gear it bit notchy and more then that the clutch was very long I mean so long that we stalled the car twice is this specifically with the 2012 models ? Or even your car has a long travel ? To be honest I felt really uncomfortable using the clutch . Do you think maybe the test model had this problem ?

All punto has a very long but soft clutch. It is normal & you get used to it within a week.
Surprisingly, I never stalled or jerked my Punto, not even the test drive Punto.
I do not feel any notchiness in the gears of Pintu.

If in proper gears I feel it is impossible to stall punto. it moves even without pressing the throttle . thanks to 209nm torque for such a small car.
