If you are complaining about Punto's ORVM then imagine me and my Verna(probably has the widest ORVM in the segment) , got plenty of scratches on both sides!

just imagine being a punto owner how heartfelt i could be ..yes i am. especially those curvy ovrm are one of my favorite after the headlights.
and seeing a black scar would make me mad.
in my punto one place where i cannot look at is bottom .she is scratched ,devoured humiliated ,hurt ..and what not.. yet she moves with a smile bearing all those pain.
well nice to note the wobble has been fixed .
raj can you be a bit more elaborate about cause and the way it was fixed et al.
i hope it wont show up again..!!

I am afraid, but it is indeed a big one.
I am used to the small but effective ORVMs of my scorpio!
FE has improved to 15.5 kmpl! Maybe I learnt how to tame the punto.
I agree. The ORVMs look great & very stylish, so I am not complaining.
Even I was mad. But soon I realized that I have to live with it. As far as I have noticed, things are much better in Kerela. In Mumbai, parking is like a war. the one who comes early gets his space. the one who comes last tries to squeeze his car in some tight spot.

i mean was that some kind of tech flaw in punto or just wheel issue.
i hope not from punto after visiting the website for hubring.it should be somekind of alignment issue.

No, its not an issue with the car, it was because of the wheels.

My daily drive is ALWAYS peak time bumper to bumper traffic. My car has been giving a consistent 14 kmpl (trip computer shows 15 kmpl).
Yesterday I refueled the car & reset the tripmeter. Being a saturday, roads were fairly empty. The trip computer showed 22 kmpl! That just means, with light city traffic, the 90 hp can easily give atleast 18 kmpl.

Now thats a mouth watering figure. 14kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic is an excellent figure.
The ARAI figure for Punto 90HP is about 20.1kmpl, which means 22kmpl is very much possible since the ARAI figures are very close to real time data.

that's really mouth watering figure . i must resist my self from punto
there are no open/good highways in kerala(especially in my part) the average speed remains 14-20 kmph , yet i get 17kmpl every time i refuel.
and gracefully it feels good that if i change my driving manners i can add +1 or +2.
punto 90 hp is well worth in every aspect.

Thanks buddy. I too like this pic a lot.
one should travel mangalore to kochin (about 500km) at any time from 6am to 11pm then you will know about kerala traffic.
from my home kannur to nearest airport calicut it is 120 km. and it always take 3.5 hour to 4 hours depending on trafic.
normally i fill it for 500rs. 12.01 litre and keep a log with km covered wrt additional refils. untill rs.2500. then i see total average.
it definitly goes more that 200km with rs.500

The plastic panel on the C pillar has come off loose & was rattling on rough roads. I thought it was due to the weight of the parcel tray i have fitted. Some googling revealed that many Puntos have this problem.
Took my car to the Tata-Fiat A.S.S. yesterday morning (Fortune, Powai). They willingly accepted it is Fiat's mistake & many Puntos have this panel coming loose. Fiat has rectified this by providing a new panel with stronger & more rigid bolts which will be replaced free of cost in my car.
The A.S.S. has ordered the panel for my car & hopefully they will change it during my first service, which is at 3000 kms. the odo shows 2600 kms now.
