decided to take RSA from H! since i have a few trips lined up
final cost Rs 4600 for 4 years + 1 year free , i.e total 5 years

freebees thrown in
1 year free i.e 1750 bucks saved
one complete waxing - anything free is welcome :p:
one wheel alignment - costs 500 bucks

I anyways plan to keep the vehicle for 5 years atleast so there is nothing to lose by spending 4600 bucks more. On the contrary i get more peace of mind.

Congrats nitin,
Extnd warranty+RSA costs like 10k in bangalore, which is bloody costly.

i dont no if i can just opt for RSA "only".

yes, you can take either of them. RSA can be opted yearly also but extended warranty is for 2 years only.

In a place like delhi/NCR , RSA makes sense since distances are huge.

u got a very nice deal,

4.6k + Some coating etc for 5 yrs is a very nice one.
Wish we could get such stuff in bang,

its way 2 expensive here

Its more to do with competition and the dealers pro activeness. They also want Diwali Bonus, lol.

They approached me else i would never have gone to get RSA myself. Also once the rate was fixed, they sent their executive to collect the cheque.

I anyways would be making few trips around diwali and read some horror stories of incidents happening on highways etc as a result RSA was on my mind but way back.

They called at the perfect time and by habit I never close the deal on day zero. Take the best offer, say thank you and offer regret saying the price is high. They will call back and still say No. Call them after a week and go for the kill. [lol]

Took the beauty on a 50 km ride today, with a mix of poor roads and good hi-way.
Driftng is considerably less, after maintaing the tyre pressure at 30psi on both front/rear tyrez.

Engine braking is smooth n clean(attempted 5 times) , and is very useful in bang.
u get these auto-wallas, bikers and other fools, who think they are driving on roads, constructed by their fathers :))

have lot of difficulty shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, not sure y that is :(

30psi is still more than what H! prescribes. since the suspensions are stiff on the back , the back seat drive will become a little unpleasant with more than the required psi. Also your FE will improve if you keep the H! suggested air pressure or a bit lower since the car will remain grounded at higher speeds with no/less chances of drift.

and yes, downsizing from second to first / second to thrird is notchy at times but will improve drastically after the 1st service and be best once you cross 5000kms.
